Hi guys, Just found my first wish and was looking for suggestions. L21 Dwarf Paladin about to go and get RotHK. 2 Corruptions, only one potion of remove chaos and day 60, so SCRs? I have one poor stats sword of sharpness so possibly plural of those? Find weakness? Speed (apparently lowers experience yield)? Other suggestions? I have no idea |

Yep am through ToEF. Any better suggestions for weapons? Have trusted one but no big damage weapon. Also want to keep using a shield. |

Swords of sharpness are the best swords you can wish for, sadly. If you've got one already, I wouldn't wish for another one. Find Weakness would be more useful in increasing your damage. I guess Khelly is already dead or saved? Do you have seven league boots already? With these you have good chances of beating the game before day 90. Scrolls of chaos resistance can still be obtained by getting the weird tome. You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Yep Khelly is dead and already have 7LB. Find weakness seems likly. For the weird tome do I need to eat a harpy corpse? One on banshee level, should I carry it or eat it there? Cheers guys |

Does casting spells count as not keeping your mouth shut? You pick up the worn boots. |

You don't need to eat a harpy corpse and you can cast spells while getting the weird tome. Just stealth 100 is needed (afaik). You should wish for Girdle of giant strength of course. |

Stealth 100, and no Chatting with monsters for ~8 game hours, if I remember correctly. Or was it ~2000 turns? Casting spells is OK. Try the TiLiCat! It's experience! Tiger, stuffed with deboned Lion, stuffed with deboned Wildcat, and slow roasted with a mix of herbs. (served raw for Trolls) |

What I'm about to write isn't helpful, but it's kind of on topic... I've only ever received one wish in my ADOM career. It was a 4th or 5th level ranger who was badly poisoned, out of all healing options, and had about 5 hp left. I was drinking out of a pool in desperation, hoping to get *anything*, and got a wish. So I had to use my one career wish for "Healing". What are the odds? But at least it kept that character alive for another half-hour. :) |
