What are some of the best weapons you have found? I've gotten an Eternium Scimitar of Penetration before, that was a wonderful weapon. A few times, in the early game I've found an Orcish Spear of Devastation. That speeds up the early and mid game quite a bit, killing most stuff in a single poke. So tell me, what have you found? Eternium Two Handed Swords with a prefix and suffix? Something awesome right in the SMC? The best non-artifact weapon I've ever found was a frozen eternium halberd of devastation. Pulled it out of the weapon room in Darkforge with a trollish healer. I'm pretty sure he was confused by the skeletal king and shredded by the chaos piranhas a bit later. |

not a great weapon for me but an interesting one i found was a frozen sword of lightning was fun in the fire tower but not too much regular damage as it was only 1d6 but still fun The stone giant runs away in fear. Who ever heard of a stone being scared of gravel? |

I've never gotten anything too fantastic, but my latest char has gotten off to a nice start when Yriggs dropped a hatchet of mayhem (3d6+7). I'm sure I'll find better eventually, but it's nice to get such a good weapon from rescuing the carpenter. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

Hope that character isn't an Archer, Darren. Then you'd have to decide whether to wield it or keep the hatchet safe from item destruction so you could get logs later to make arrows. With my current character I found a short sword of devastations. (+3,3d6.+6) Pretty good find for the village dungeon. You attack the Ancient pink dragon with all of your force, but do not mange to harm it! The Ancient Pink Dragon breaths a deathray, poision, fire, acid, ice, lightning, water, corruption, missle, petrefication, and stun breath at you. All of your equipment is torn apart! Apart from the cool pre and post weapons, my fave is Bloody Daggers, they have extreme crit chance - ive used them to take down steel golems **<I have lost *alot* of accounts by forgetting my password>** |

balsam knife of weakness is my favorite. It's a donkey slayer. seriously, im thinking masterwork eternium spear of devastation. whats that, +9 6d6+8?, weighs 25s, almost indestructable. I've never found one, but there's always that rng... |

I would go for (something) of penetration. Sure, a fabously high damage dice one looks nice, but as the game progresses you get better natural damage anyway (St, rings,weaponskill), and so the ability to always deliver the hurt is hard to beat. I don't think I've ever found anything of penetration with a truly great weapon suffix, so my "white orcish spear of penetration" which I just found with a starting character is as good as anything. I am of course playing a monk, just noticed good price when I tried to drop it in a shop... For raw damage weapon wicked is far better than masterwork, Wicked eternium spear of devastation is something like (+2, 6d11 +14). At least if you have other means of getting crits (RotMC, find weakness) |

My PC found a weeping stone axe of weakness yesterday. Bloody useless, but sounds cool. She's an orcish barbarian, and so far the best weapon she has found is a dagger of mayhem. Not much use. In fact, I think she is currently wielding the eternium dagger she got from Kelly, as its a bit more robust. How sad is that? I really need to find a decent weapon <sigh>. |
