Found lawful altar in PC1 live sacced my way to extremely close. Lvl 12 Wizard, alignment = L. I don't really understand the description of precrowning in the guidebook though...Do I need even more piety before I can get precrowned? Normally I know I could get crowned now if I made my alignment L+ but is it different bc I'm only L?? |

If you're at extremely close then all you have to do is pray. Make sure you're not wearing any items that curse or doom you (such as Executor) and there shouldn't be any problem. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

When you are trying to achieve pre/post crownings you *have* to have just L or so. Extreme aligment wont work. "The white baby dragon equips the small shield." WTF :D |

Also, before praying, make sure you're at full HP/PP, not wearing any cursed gear, and not affected by any negative status. Otherwise, instead of giving you your precrowning gift, your god will deal with your cursed items, your HP/PP, or your status, and you just lost a chunk of piety, perhaps enough so that you have to sacrifice more before getting precrowned.
