I have been trying to get rings of djinni summoning by dipping stacks of rings into blessed potions of exchange while on the 2nd level of the dwaven halls. But a dozen potions latter, still no luck. Is there anywhere else I could go that would be more likely to get them? My character is of a sufficiently high level to go just about anywhere else in the game, so I was thinking an ID dive or something similar. And if your curious, I have a virtually unlimited number of potions thanks to a potion shop and the casino.

IIRC the danger level has a big effect on success change. Something like D8 is apparently the best place for ring dipping to get RoDS. Even then, getting RoDS is very rare. My archmage had something like 300 RoDS in the end but that required hundreds (if not thousands) of !oEx and using maximal size stacks of rings.

D8 is the optimal location. Very low chance though. Can't remember the exact stats, but you need to have about 70 potions to be reasonably sure of getting a pile of RoDSes.

Three and a half percent?
You drop the golden ball.
You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west.
Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?"
Which direction? (123456789) 4
Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is hit by a bolt of acid! Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is annihilated.
You hear the ecstatic cries of a large crowd!

5% on D8
4% on DH1

the choice is yours.
