Was doing the healing quest with a N- assasin, get to jarhod and theres a locked door, so I do 2 W s's and since I got about 60 detect traps I kick the door. "You kick the door and succeed in activating a hidden trap ... kaboom! the door was boobytrapped ... you are engulfed by the roaring flames! Jharod, the healer, does not seem to be amused. Jharod the healer grunts one last time before he is consumed by the roaring flames! [+143xp]" Ya great, so I go talk to Hotzenplotz and it drops my alignment to C and gives me only the sheriff quest, so I talk to the mad doctor and he says "don't disturb me..." Needless to say this char has just been Q'd Also surprisingly Jharod wasn't in my kill list. First kill was raider lord too. . . Reminds me of the time I actually led the carpenter to Jharod, only to step on a fire ball trap while right next to him. The chance of that had to be astronomical. It means that Jharod had to wonder around in that room for maybe ~100 turns, without tripping the trap himself. Ugh. Put me in the 'fool filter', where I belong! |

Wow, that was an incredible story Narcolepcy [and also hilarious!]. I have a few stories, but I cant beat yours by a long shot. After a fearsome battle against the bunch of chaos servants near Kelly. I was resting by tapping the '.' to let the poison run its course, but I didn't notice the giant Fire Vortex until it was too late. I didn't get burned badly (I could resist it), but Khelly didn't.
