Hi All, Have been saving a RoDS to get a AoLS, but have just found one in the large cave. Looking for suggestions to spend my extra wish on... Playing an Orcish barbarian and already have 7LBs and Wyrmlance. Desperate for rings of ice to tackle dark forge and fire temple, but is it a waste? Any help appreciated Cheers, Pete |

Better wish for red dragon scale mail. As for equipment, you can try dipping useless rings into PoE to get ring of ice or exploit gremlin cave (pickpocketing). I also have a similar qn - What should I wish? char info - orcish beastfighter level 50 has closed the gate, killed black unicorn (so corruption will be taken care of), has slb, ring of weakness, ring of immunity. also beastfighters dont need weapons GoGS might get destroyed in BDC. Want to complete BDC, filk, emp moloch, ruined city for fun. |

If u wish for rdsm and then do darkforge, I'd bet u'd find like 3 in there. If there are any skills you want consider wishing for them. |

Pete: > Desperate for rings of ice to tackle dark forge Considering that you have 7lb's, I think blessed rings of ice might be really helpful for the ToEF. Alternatively, maybe consider bracers of resistance. Unless you find the BoW, it is a piece of equipment that you will wear for the rest of the game. You can smith it up nicely, and because it's in the bracers slot, you won't have to give up anything to wear it. Put me in the 'fool filter', where I belong! |

Thanks for the response gut. I already have bracers of resistance, will these melt in ToEF? Worried about attempting it without a bow or 7LBs which currently would. |

Bracers of resistance are made of iron, so one would think that they would melt, in the tower. They are one of those funny items though, like crowns of fire, they won't melt. Call it *magic* and try not to think about it too much. The bracers will rust though, so if you have a potion of oil or rust removal, they should be rust/water proofed. They are well worth it, especially if smithed. You can even wear them in the Air Temple, which is really nice. A beastfighter would really benefit from having a bow and 7lb's in the tower. They would help limit the corrupting melee attacks, you will have to take. Put me in the 'fool filter', where I belong! |
