Just got Ironfist from a surge of power doing the druid quest. Never had a surge dong this quest before so it's new to me. What about the elder quest? Has anyone had a surge of power doing that before? |

I think it's not tied with quests by any means. My winner character found two from puppy cave. "The white baby dragon equips the small shield." WTF :D |

It's a random dungeon effect that can happen anytime, but it's very rare. I have gone without surges of power for years, but I think in all the game I've played until now, there must have been about six or seven. Usually I get pretty good artifacts out of them, but I've also gotten the Black Tome of Alsofuckus... You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?" Which direction? (123456789) 4 Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is hit by a bolt of acid! Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is annihilated. You hear the ecstatic cries of a large crowd! |

only surge that i remember gave me rune covered sling. As far as the STUPID black tome...i have been precrowned only twice, and that was my gift. |

That's looking on the bright side! If memory serves, saccing it also gives a good L boost. Probably has other uses to, just can't think of any more right now. Maybe if you need corruptions, to enter the quickling tree, reading it would give some spells on the way. I think the best surge of power that I have ever gotten, was preserver. For PC's with healing problems, that is a great artifact. Put me in the 'fool filter', where I belong! |
