Can you be precrowned to a different alignment than crowning? For example, could I get precrowned chaotic, then crowned Lawful?

Yup, no problem whatsoever. Only issue is that getting precrowned chaotic means pissing off the L god a bit, so it'll take some time later to build up your piety with him/her.
Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse."

I know that you can't sac (pre/post)-crowning gifts back to your god, but can you sac them to a different god?

Heh, I can just see the logic behind that. "Yeah, L+ god? I got this gift from the C- god, but since I'm now dedicated to you, I figured you wouldn't mind my offering you this gift."

I could see that going either way :D
