So here is the Q" -The L33 Ranger mentioned in the undead vault just got a problem with this. -I couldn't get the rolf companion even though i am L+ -When i chatted to the dwarven mystic, he said u are doomed. -Previously removed the curse got from the pools in the dark forge hence i sacF to god and removed the curse, there was no doom. -Then also previously, i attacked a royal guard in the hidden gold area. However, i read in the guidebk that there was no doom but only when i eat the corpse. Note, this is previously b4 the drinking of pool from dark forge. -Then i couldn't get the companion, hence i look at the date, it was on the 13th. This reminds me that the character starts out doomed but my PC birth date was on the 4th. SO, does the 13th day still affects me? If so, on all 13th day, when a L+ PC talk to the mystic, will he still get the rolf companion? Whoa you got it all wrong. The dwarven mystic says "Ye art doomed" if you commit a chaotic act in dwartown. A wished for dwarven mystic replies with the same message. You dont have to be doomed at all. THE MESSIAH,I'm here now,Worship me. |

Does anyone know about getting Rolf's Savior? I received it with a lawful character and I had charisma at 29 (crown of leadership). So I'm pretty sure that charisma has effect on this because every time I've gotten it I had pretty high charisma. "Cruel Akron, bloody bastard I now spit on you. Nah i tried the quest with charisma and appearance 99 on one char and it had no affect... (unless it's based upon initial charisma, but i doubt that). oh and rolf's saviour is how it's spelled in the game - wrongly in my book, but perhaps other englishes would be a different story. My best guess is that if you get to finish his quests without comitting a chaotic act he'll give it to you. However this is difficult with blink dogs flying around and yummy corpses. And one of the quests being to win at the arena, which could spawn a dwarf. DougyDougy - Dougy - DougyDougy |

"saviour"... that's how it's spelled in old English (and probably British English too). Think King Arthur. And I've always gotten Rolf's Saviour too, when playing lawfuls. Die Gedanken sind Frei |
