how does one wish for weapon skill marks? How about skills(alchemy etc)?

Wish for "dagger marks" - it's extremely fast. Wish for skills by name. Healing and Alertness can't be wished for - you'll have to max out all other skills and get lots of potions/scrolls of education to max them out.

i cannot increase the skills by wishing :(. I do get the "you increase your knowledge of -skill-" but i get no increase.

Perhaps wish for potions of education instead.
I'm no archmager, but I think they should work.

what armor types can have the "of power" suffix?

Most of them. Dragon scale mails can't, but any normal material armour (eternium/adamantium/mithril whatever) or clothes and robes can all sport the suffix.

can gloves have any other suffix than "of carrying"?

Found a +7 pair in the HMV shop once. Qiute rare obviously... But anyway, gloves don't have suffixes, there are just certain types types of gloves (like with girdles). Only armour, melee weapons and missile ammo can have random prefixes/suffixes.
