If you have enough PoEX, you can deep a pile of rings in it, hoping to get some RoDS. after that, you should keep wishing for PoEX (you get 3 for each wish) and continue with the process. As long as you have enough potions, you can continue, and have unlimted number of wishes.

the ring wish engine needs ~40 rings, some good luck or dozens of poex and that's it. Gremlin bombing means pickpocketing gremlins in lvl 8 in the CoC(the first level that can summon RoDS)

The arch-mage(ultimate form of wish engine) needs Lvl 50 priest or wizard(since both get enough -% to spellcosts), preferably salamander or wand birthsign(the extra pp), Totrr, mana orb, elemental gauntlets, manabattery and -of power armor is a definite plus as well as necklace of mana, spellbook of wish, wish spell and great bookcaster. The basic formula is to wish for stuff and return the mana with orb, Corruption is cancelled with wished for socr.

Perfect for this is a stack of 19 rings. This method has the potential to make the game easier than stealing a lollipop off a one-armed baby that sleeps. :)

Gremlin bombing is the act of finding a water trap, deliberately setting it off while wielding a fluff ball, and subsequently killing the gremlins by the thousands. They are extremely easy to kill, but they drop normally according to dungeon level. The best location for gremlin bombs is probably the upper level of the dwarven graveyard since it doesn't corrupt. (Wands of trap creation don't work there - you dig a pit in a square that would contain a water trap, cover it with a blanket, and next time you step on the square it's a water trap. Yup, that's a bug.)

EDIT: CoC 8 is the level at which, in theory, rings of djinni summoning are most probably. Some people hunt exclusively for those, so it makes sense to do it there for them.
You drop the golden ball.
You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west.
Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?"
Which direction? (123456789) 4
Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is hit by a bolt of acid! Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is annihilated.
You hear the ecstatic cries of a large crowd!

Well, yes, but why'd you want to dig up the walls in the upper graveyard? You need the few that are there to contain the gremlins somewhat. Incidentally, the square that makes up the entrance to the central structure on the top level IS a square where you can get a water trap from.

You don't dig up the walls to get pits. You dig into the ground, like you do to dig up graves.

I'd say that my ability to understand written text had a momentary collapse. Guess one doesn't need to dig *walls* to make holes in the ground. But still i wonder why WoD had no effect on the walls.

I guess there are three categories of walls: Diggable, undiggable, and entirely indestructable?

How did you manage to make see-through spoiler space? :P

Anyway, yeah without such spoily info I can say for sure that undiggable walls are also indestructable. Never tried wands of destruction in the temples?

foxamble arena can be digged with Wod as well as casino, this also applies to any other wall that i've tried(temples, bug cave, maze etc), but the graveyard does not budge?!? If you had a Wod while arriving to mana temple, it could make it a lot easier. I have to try that out!

I'm gonna try to dig from the back of the temple and shoot some arrows up his a**.

I think I tried WoD in the Mana Temple and it didn't help at all.

aaahh, no it did not. I'd have really liked to bust in from behind and kill the arch mage before anyone had time to do anything.

A kick ass wizard, some potions of boost willpower, you can at least wake him up on your way around the corridors - fairly certain that could speed up getting his attention
