can they be tamed? that would make one hell of a companion (until you got goin fast that is). i've tried taming one b4 w/ a lvl 6 ??? bard w/ 95+ Music and a glockenspiel, started playing as soon as it came in view, got killed as soon as it got close. never even fazed the thing. ivan.sourceforge.net |

Don't think you can tame those, not wich music anyway. They don't count as animals. IIRC these are the only ones you can tame (with music) canines (d), felines(f), insects (i), rodents (r), bats (B), snakes (s), worms (w), spiders (S), centepides (c), lizards, (l), bees (b) and ants (a) I might be wrong, I know there are a few exceptions (cat lord, were <foo>, ghost bats and shadow centepedes, ratlings and probably a few others can't be tamed even though they have one of the abowe symbols and giant boar, who fall into the same "group" as Hydras and Swamp Hydras, can be tamed), but I'm pretty sure Hydras can't be tamed by music. "Foo" for "whatever" is very common hacker terminology (that's "hacker" as in someone who likes doing clever stuff with computers, not "hacker" as in someone who breaks into other people's computer systems, which is more properly referred to as "cracker").
