Got the apish corruption and it reduced my learning to 4.. tought it would give +3 strenght -1 learning bla bla only once but apparently it reoccured by time.. So whats the best way to train your learning.. reading lots of books?? ps. I don't like to use any method like making me sick and eating herbs.. thanks:) Hitler is still alive, I made love to her |

Do you like methods like digging for crystals of knowledge : ) That's the quickest way I know, but there is also training with Garth. If your piety is high enough, you can eat the Oracle for a boost, then get doom removal. Put me in the 'fool filter', where I belong! |

Well im a monk so digging shouldn't be a problem. but it takes time.. I forgott all about garth:) I'm allready doomed and cursed so I could train with garth first and then go eat the oracle.. I'm spiritually invincible so It sholdn't be too long to get my doom removed.. Thanks Hitler is still alive, I made love to her |

With learning at 4, Garth is the most cost-effective way by far, at least to get you to about 14 or 15. Then you can start mining for crystals if possible, or killing innocent people for their corpses... Depending on your character 14 just might be enough for you, though. You drop the golden ball. Do you get learning stats up by eating innocent people?? I will probable get it to 15 and then eat the oracle as I'm allready doomed.. helps to get detect traps and tactics to 100. faster... Hitler is still alive, I made love to her |

Isn't the one more skill increase per level limit 15 learning? Well anyhow, getting that limit with Garth isn't too expensive and I think its sure worth it. |

Dark elven yummies make one more agile and fragile, they might increase mana too (the caster types). I thinks oracle is the only corpse increasing learning, innocent or not. |

I think the black druid, Keethrax, just gives mana and corrupts. Eating dark sage corpse toggles literacy, dont know about Le. My barbarians and beastfighters eat it before the Thrundarr's first quest. |
