I would have given 3 points of Toughness, to see the look on meh's face when he rolled that hurthling farmer : ) It must have been like: "A farmer!" : ( "With a St stat of 3!?" X [ OK, so now that we're all dead, I claim the distinction of having the worst game. I killed not even a single monster, and no one's beating that. Thanks for your condolences, gut. But believe me, your pleasure is not in any way matched by the joy I had reading of your demise. Killed by a bandit? With a dwarven elementalist? That's just a crime against nature... The really annoying thing about my "death" is that I would never have cared about smithing if I wasn't a weaponsmith! tapi's char looks very promising - I love that r/c combo. Just a pity about the shit artifacts. Soirana obviously has plenty of potential too, though going for the puppy seems a mighty big risk with To 8 (especially when herbs can be immediately enjoyed instead). Condolences, Soirana. Monks are unfortunately pathetically weak in the early game, and require even more care than GE wizards in my opinion. tapi is looking very promising though with his healer. ToEF should be a breeze with the right preparations - I always love sending drakelings in there. What does bass awkward mean anyway? Better at drums? No good at catching certain types of salt water fish with their bare hands? Bards are useless though, I agree. That's a pretty good roll Moloch. I hear good things about dwarven paladins, but I also never play them. I like the way you're doing it though, naming him Ironbutt and all. I wonder if things would have been different for my PC had I named him Banditslayer : ) EDIT: Oh yes, I just noticed that we have driven Soirana to another attempt of Head Hunting. He says it's because he's not a quitter, but I believe he just wants to switch to a form of self-torture that isn't quite as bad as reading my poetry. Put me in the 'fool filter', where I belong! I love the idea of the head hunter challenge, but just never managed to find the patience to play a bard with pet... much better to read about it instead :) The whole ogre cave thing seems like a bit of a bugger... |
