Someone said somewhere in this forum that he had better luck with finding ball spellbooks with female wizards than male wizards. I play mostly male characters, but I created a female wizard just for kicks and started out with Acid Bolt, Improved Fireball and Light. Before level 20, after having cleared UD, CoC to Khelly and DF, doing very little scumming in ID (till I got to level 8-9), I also found every other ball spell in the game. On the other hand, I remember a normal ending I got with a male wizard who only found a couple of ball spells only on D:50 (library books aside, even the casino wasnt any help). Has anyone else experienced this? Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. Suddenly a stone block hits your head! Something on the ground is smashed to pieces! PeanutGod: Awwww no! How harsh is that! This is where you need the artefact 'mop and bucket'. |
