I'm always looking for a new way to kill cats with out 'killing' them. which is realy an insane joke, the day I meet ol' Cat Man, I won't care much if he has a ring for me. Yeah, I believe that counts as a kill (you get the whole moaning spirit thing). Best option is to have something else kill it (pets/companions or just random neutral monsters if you are lucky). Or with a bit of luck lure it into triggering a trap. In a pinch you can also turn a persistent cat into something else by smashing a potion of exchange (or chaos if you think you can deal with the result) over it's head. Just keep in mind that the more powerful your character the greater the risk of just flat out killing it with the potion so avoid being in berserk mode at least. Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |
