How exactly is the over damage figured out when theres multiple die and a + damage modifier. Does the + damage modifier apply to each dice roll or to just the overall damage? For instance, take the normal flail. 2d4+2. If the damage is applied to the total from the rolls, we would have damage of 4-10. If its applied on each roll, the damage would be 6-12. |

It's only applied to the final roll. You'll note in the '@' screen that this damage modifier can become much greater or lower through other influences (strength, dexterity, weapon skill, tactics, etc), and often makes the actual damage dice irrelevant.
