The guidebook says a lot about corpse effects-- http://users.rcn.com/andywlms/adomgb-app-J.html According to the guidebook, only trolls can eat doppleganger king corpses (I wonder if others can eat them when starving?); and it gives a 50% chance of increase in each stat. Die Gedanken sind Frei |

Yuh, others can also eat them but having stomacemptia with you is better. Cursed ones are better than bless and uncursed. They immediately starve that u are force to eat something and so they must never be consumed in the middle of a battle. Anyway, if u can find a doppleganger king corpse, that's great. I found it once with a dwarf warrior but too bad no herb to starve me. Anyway, doppleganger family deflects missiles, hence long bows of hunting are useless. :( But wearing a bless ankh with food pres Skill will helps a lot. I never have problems with Doppleganger kings... they are easy to kill with barbarians tremendous blow... but it's not vey good if ye miss the blow :) Joka vitsaa säästää, saa kaatumataudin |

Even if a doppelganger king could be hit by the long bow of hunting, hunting only works on animals. It says so on www.adom.de "The long bow of hunting now only works with full effects when used against animals. hahah yes u are, but i think he wrote that to prevent ambiguity. If he wrote "...only works against animals" ppl might start thinking that it wouldn't produce corpses from other monsters. Good tactics to kill doplerganger king is change tactic to coward:) And just wait to first atack DK. He usualy misses:) And than swith tactic to berserker and just kill him:) If you miss... Ooo it's a problem;) The best weapon is phase dagers, because DK didin't copy a special powers of PC and weapons:). Ate dopplergangers coprse, troll haven't any problems.
