could someone tell me the golemns in the toughness order (easyest to the hardest). is the eternium or the steel golemn hardest? I ask this because i just ran into a golemn vault which had a eternium golemn and i couldn't harm it with my beastfighter (gnome). "Faugh!" snorted Tahngarth. Eternium, diamond, steel, iron, stone, bone, clay, flesh. That's be the order i'd assign. (well it's hardest to easiest) Eternium golems are supposed to have such enormous PV's that nothing is supposed to harm them (penetration is good here). Construct slaying ammo is only moderately useful because the PV (~80) will block out most of the damage. However without anything that bypasses PV they're your best hope. i just wished for one, had a dv of ~70 ~500 hps attacks 6 times and does 30-300 damage. i took it out with 2 eternium spears of devestation on berserk. |

I didnt have much of a problem with eterium golem. The reason must be that I was a true bersker with GM in two handed weapons and the axe of the minotaur emperor combined with Tremedous blow class power. |

Got killed by one, once, while playing a wizard. Some types of golems are immune some bolt/ball spells (though they shrug off bolts half the time anyway). Wish I knew which ones, now. Die Gedanken sind Frei |

lesse, steel golomns are IIRC immune to fire. i think all the metal golomns are immune to fire actually. ivan.sourceforge.net |
