I wanted to get Rolf's Companion axe from the dwarven mystic, so I had my AoTeleport Control on, got a final wrench from WoTeleportation and telepoted to the room. I got the axe, but the question was:

How to get out?

My high elven archer didn't have any spells, no more WoTeleport, no WoTrap Creation and WoDigging didn't work on the walls there. I had only one unidentified wand, so I zapped it. Nothing. I zapped it several times, and finally got the final wrench. The wand destroyed all walls around me, and damaged a dwarven guardian that was outside. The alarm was rung of course, and muscular dwarves + shopkeeper rushed to get me. I guess they didn't know I have Sun's Messenger ;) After I dealt with them, I checked the indentified items list, and next to the 'twisted wand' I used wrote 'wand of destruction'. Anyone encountered such a thing before?

Yupp, the wand of destruction can be very useful in D:50 if you don't wanna deal with all the enemies there... :)

One question: Why did you decide to teleport in when you couldn't teleport out? :)

No idea ;) Maybe I just wanted to kill one of my best characters so far in an extraordinary way ;)

Result was rather cool: Waldenbrook said hello to blessed arrows of slaying and his shop is now mine ;)

Probably the only two real uses for WoD.
At the D:50 levers and in dwarftown.
The second is quite dangerous IMO

Hmmm... are you cursed and/or doomed by tripping the alarm in Dwarftown?

Not quite... a WoD saved my life when I was trapped between a greater titan and an anceint red dragon in the dwarf halls.

Do monsters you destroy with WoD show up on your kill list? ISTR that monsters killed by a WoD wouldn't be counted as your kills so you could use it late-game to get rid of cats... But I'm not sure so anyone know?
If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
