I just noticed something. When in Berserker or True Berserker mode I killed cats, no message about the cat's spirit was generated. Maybe it's a good way to kill cats and don't make cat lord hostile. Somebody test this, please. |

I'm pretty sure that regardless of whether you see the spirit or not,the Cat Lord still becomes angry.It's based on your perception score,I believe... Woman : If I was your wife,I'd poison your coffee. Man : If you were my wife,I would drink it. |

yea, IIRC a PE of 15 or more is needed, or the alertness skill, to see the spirit. ivan.sourceforge.net |

Well, maybe my trollish barbarian had too low Perception. But IIRC when I was in Berserk I killed cats - no spirit. Then I 'turned off' Berserk, killed a cat - there was a spirit. |

Hmmmmm Guinea, I don't know, but sometimes when you kill a karmic in malee sometimes karmic monsters have no time to curse you. You don't see emsage It was not a good idea, or something like that. I killed few karmics in malee and karmic lizards and karmic baby dragons didn't curse me. They die so fast;) But when you kill a cat, you can see only a cats spirit, it's automatic;) And maybe it's when you kill your first cat. I don't know I make everything not to kill this the worst monster... "Insect, we care not for thee. I think I must test it a bit more. No character I played on berserk (troll barbarian usually) got far, so I'm not sure about that. |

No guinea even if you kill a cay and dont see the spirit you wont get the RotMC. BM:TB himslef answered this question.The karmiic cursing is like a special attack.It dosent happen all the time. THE MESSIAH,I'm here now,Worship me. |
