How do I get hawkslayer to join me? I heard you have to have a password or something. I'm currently a level 16 trollish wizard and I have no trouble with anything yet, but I cannot figure out how to get him as my ally. Any help? |

A few things: 1) With non-troll characters, you have to be at least/dern-near close to level 25. 2) Password is "Iceberg". From the game Nethack. 3)Completed all of the ancient dwarf's quests. I think that is the right stuff, but I haven't played 1.00 all that much. Only had a few characters so far, all under 30. Oh the joy that has been brought to us by the mystical drink known simply as "Kool-Aid." |

Okay ive finished all the dwarf's quest, Im N=, I drank from a pool and got the "iceberg" thing second try, then I went back to HMV and Nothing. Im level 21 troll now. ANy ideas??? |

Didnt he mention it already.For a troll you have to get to 24+ to get Hawkslayer.Although I have got him at 22 once. THE MESSIAH,I'm here now,Worship me. |

Okay I can now get hawkslaywer, but before I do I heard you can equip him. What do I do to do that? I know he can wear armor, but what about boots, rings, amulets, gloves, bracers, weapons, etc? What can he wear? |

You said it youreself.He can equip a lot of stuff. The best use of Hawk is that he fires arrows.You can then ise em. :) THE MESSIAH,I'm here now,Worship me. |
