what exactly is the idea behind the first kill? the old barbarian quest? how many of you kill the old barbarian, after getting courage..? (just bringing him to the gremlin cave and hacking him dead works as he has no vision in dark and just stands still..) Duh, troll juice.. |

Hmmm just you must find and kill something about 20 monsters who was your first kill when you start the game. The best first kill? Some type of monster who is easy to find, but non common monster. Giant frog, hobgoblin (in dungeons are rare, but in wildernes there are a hords;)) Good idea is go to the Lawenilothehl and kill bandid, or outlaw, not a assasin;) Hmmmm gremlin is some crazy but not a stupid idea for first kill;) Sometimes is black hurtling. Orc,rats etc are good if you want courage. What Bm said is the one you need for an ultra ending. Bandits,Outlaws,Beggars,Hobgoblins. Assasin is a bad idea because you have to meet the AP and all the assasins in ???? are usually killed. THE MESSIAH,I'm here now,Worship me. |

A great first kill for any spellcaster that starts with bolt spells is a greater claw bug from Bugville (if you don't want to go for the puppy or Kranach, that is... getting there and back takes about 7 days game time). I usually read any offensive spellbooks and drop them in Terinyo, then go to the small cave first, then straight back out without killing anything, then across the river to Bugville. Generally two rations is enough to make the trip. It usually takes two bolt spells to kill your first bug. This will give your non-troll about four to six levels. Killing two more bugs after that brings you to level seven, but beware that anything that gets near your spellcaster will kill in one hit. Perfect for an ultra ending if you don't go to Bugville until Filk is dead. Die Gedanken sind Frei |
