For Gamma 16 there was a save game editor called WADOMF, though it won't work with more recent versions... Other than that... Spoiler Other than that you can drop stuff on a level, leave the level, make a copy of the level file (in the temp_dat folder) go back and grab the stuff and then leave and restore the level file and enter and pick up the stuff agian. By making thousands of booze potions you can get just about any other potion from the fool, and then you can duplicate those potions untill you have enough potions of wonder and training and such to learn all spells and skills and increase all stats and what not for example. Don't cheat just to win tough, it takes the fun out of it. Though it can be helpfull if you want to do some experimenting and what not... Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |

I know about the copying the save file-I figured that one out myself...but is there a cheat that lets you get a wish or something? The reason I'm asking is curiosity, not because I can't play the game (although the highest character I've gotten was only level 15). I don't cheat...that often. Life sucks-Take it like a BJ |

Well you can "clone" darkforge, pools and all and keep draining them untill you get a wish (or just save scum there)... You'll need a char capable of surviving in there first though... BM: There's nothing lame about not knowing how to cheat. Man-I've been playong ADOM for about two years and the farthest I've gotten in the CoC was the graveyard...and I made it down to the darkforge but was killed before I could get to the pools. How do you manage to get your characters to such high levels? Most of mine die before 20-Oh well, I still love the game Life sucks-Take it like a BJ |

Yeah you just look at monitor and hard think what I shoud do and what I can do:). My first true win is Arian without save scuming, after 18 months of play in ADOM. I've played ADOM for about two years now and I've never won. But I think I'm getting further game after game. Lvl 21 wizard is my record, got killed by Keriax. Sometimes it can be frustrating (hell I've never even seen the casino), but gotta keep trying. And BM, my exact thoughts: Great game!!! - |

The hardest part of the game is lvls 10-20, then I usually die. After lvl 25 the game starts to become easy if you don't take any risks. Over lvl 40 and you can say you're almost won. Joka vitsaa säästää, saa kaatumataudin |

I found a way to cheat. It works with all ADOM versions. I can cheat: Experience MONEY (20000 GP is normal for me) SPELL MEMORIZATION (I set IN-GAME MAX: 30000) It`s veeeery easy PS. What temp_dat file, I always get the wrong one, I only cheat to make the game funnier,heh, or to do some crazy experment like... YE ART A MOMMY KILLER ME KILL YOU TOO! Blurp said that to me, when I was using WADOMF. |

Well, one way to cheat is to use a Bard and Cheat-o-Matic, and by level scumming, you could create a character with 99 stats, all spells (including Wish), all skills maxed, Grand Mastery in all weapons. Level Scumming = become lower level and then higher level, so you get the level rewards for lvl 12, 18, 25, 50 again and again. Its a bit difficult now in v.1.1.1 due to the talents (lvl 12 and 18 give talents), so u cant get weapon mastery now. but u can still get all the spells by wishing for them. (Well I have been playing ADOM for about 3 years and have never completed a game (without cheating) yet, best as when a character reached the DH:2 and got killed by a Diamond Golem.) |

Its a simple software which allows you to track and edit variable values in currently running softwares, which pretty much makes it an all-in-one cheating softare for any game. You can get it by searching on google.com, its pretty small about 300k. ps: overpowered characters do get boring, but it can be a change for people who havent seen what d:50 looks like yet :) |
