At the beginning of this puppet's twiddlings, i was quite pleasantly surprised
to find a cursed pair of worn boots at the bottom of the puppy cave! That
propelled my spirits for quite a while, as they are guarenteed to last the
entire adventure (if cautious and eventful). Right before reaching the last
level, i reached lvl 4 experience, so to keep my priorities in order, i
proceeded to post-pone the puppy search, retreated and emerged from the depths,
executing the man-hunt for Kranach, whos remains i promptly scattered all over
the plains.

I drank from two pools, both dissapearing immediatly. Except for a silver one
above the dwarftown vecinities. First drink - pure ail! Then, pushing my luck,
my outfit looked cleaner! Drunk with the ability to see invisible, i was singing
"fairies wear boots" all the way down to the big cave, stumbling over the only
source of mareleon (i can never remember the name) moss yet. Started eatin morgia
and rubbin dat tingly moss all over my tight, hard, muscular sweaty body
glistening with troll sweat (gettin ya hot, aint it??!!)....yeah, you know you
want me... ;p

Foolishness aside (well, maybe just a little); 

I found the ancient scythe before finding khelavaster, then i started producing
PoRC's, dippin stuff in em when *KABOOM!* i get 4 corruptions and left dazzed
clinging on to life by the skin of my teeth with 18 HP out of almost 200! So what,
still ramblin and i got da scrolls ;I. Actually, the first armor i dipped exploded,
then i decided to go for the amulet and few hand-spills later, i identified my new
amulets and stuff with a blessed scroll of id, turned out i had a ring of djinni
summoning.  Wished for amulets of life saving. A voice booms: "*ONE* SHALL BE ENOUGH,
MORTAL!". Shrugged, and hauled down to Khelavaster, encountering a greater moloch in
the dwarven halls! Had to back up and do the Bombadil shuffle, then reaching the
eternaly bleeding Khelavaster who then hungily snatched it from me, expired and
plopped back up gratefully repaying me with 6 scrolls of doom-delaying (AKA chaos
resistance), which is more than i could wish for, and the only thing i wish for. 

This was a very careless death! I was training my shield skill while recuperating
my L+ from a bit of gravedigging among the tombstone neighbors of Griff Bloodaxe,
while carefully keeping an eye on my HP status. Whenever it reached 150 or so, i
would continually cast the cure light wounds spell until approximating full health,
therefore simultaniously training my mana skill. Except this time i decided to take
a chance and wait till it dropped past 100... the lesson is once again repeated that
you can never be too careful, as the grim reaper of ADoM promptly smacks my
outstretched palms with a cursed ruler of nieveness. I was getting bored anyway
(hence the recklessness). Im only cautious with the character once they prove
promising, like getting a certain humanoid slayer, or mithril ring, or anything
else that would instigate great enthusiasm and promising a successfull expedition.
There were only two "great treasures" graves at Griffs place, and i was getting
disapointed. I didnt give up, mind you, my death was not intentional, just the
after-effects from an uninspirational journey.
