This character started out with a learning of 17! I bet thats the most a
trollish priest thats born under the sign of the unicorn can have! I chose
a Trollish priest because of four skills: detect item status, herbalism,
gemology and food preservation. The first is probably the best skill in
the game, herbalism for stomachfilia and morgia roots, gemology to raise
my learning to 99 (blessed crystals of knowledge), and food preservation
because corpse consumption is the most available form of attribute-enhancement
in the game, MUCH more reliable than training, and much more common than potions.
I consider it to be the second most useful skill available.

I started Garakh out with a new routine. First, he went to the dangerous cave
northwest of Terinyo to find the quickest route to the next floor while he was
safely in the low experience zone. Then i went back and forth on the plains
outside waiting for Kranach and eating corpses to stay alive. Then I went to
the northeastern puppy dog cave and dived as fast as possible to find the mutt
before its too late. In this case, i was. Then i went back to town and told the
tiny girl the news, then gave her the corpse, then spent some time with her.
My morals changed. Keep in mind that im striving towards law and order. Next,
i do the carpenter quest and my level is still to low to kill Hotzenplotz so
i dive into the dangerous cave. On two of the floors i came across some nice
batches of stomachfillia herbs. Thank god! Now i didnt have to rely on cooked
lizards. Which is a problem in gamma 12 since they eventually get massacred by
monsters on the arena level. On the way down i encountered some blink dogs and
they left me a valuable corpse as a souvenir. I also found two altars, one of
which much later in the game i managed to turn into marble. This character wasnt
able to recieve two pre-crowning gifts for some reason unsure to me. He just
recieved one, which was the holy scarf, and then crowned with "Protector",
which should actually be called "Defender", since it raises your DV +20 and your
PV a mere +4. I found a mithril ring early on which signified a promising future.
I dont recall very much more except for the ending blunder. I had a cloak of
invisibility which made wiping out a greater vault of emperor liches a real
breeze. Until i accidentally bumped into one that was trying to run away from me.
He fired a deathray and the world went black. No regrets though, it was a nice
ride :).
