*** going with daggers is a good decision for a bard. A high level before explvl12
gives you a chance of mastery early in the game. Phasedaggers can take out the golems
at Kherabs, and even if the emerald dagger isnt generated, needle and sting will come later ***

*** concentration and food preservation lacking, also lacking herbalism. Herbalism easily
solved with blessed scrolls of uncursing, concentration replaced with a constant draw on
health points instead of powerpoints. Food preservation is the reason for the low stats i
believe. Some more wightcorpses and such would have helped. ***

remember this was the first time i was there and very nearly died not knowing what to
do. I was down on 2 hitpoints twice, saving myself with lousy healing potions and long waits
