This was a 'turns challenge' game. With 15,634 turns, 
It sets a personal record for me. I'm a bit curious 
to know if that's an all-time record. I could not 
have gotten anywhere near this mark, if not for the 
help from the posters at the HoF. Special thanks to 
Darren and vogonpoet.

The game was played with the following restrictions.
No pickpockets skill, no smithing, no praying, no
piety abuse, no saving, and no dragon gold doubling.

I started out by getting the waterproof blanket 
from the SMC. I then got some food from Terinyo
and went to clear the BUGWIL for the exp. points.
I then went to the ID for a blink dog corpse.
Next, I went to dwarftown, finding no morgia or
moss along the way. I beat the Griffyard and
the Pyramid, still no morgia. Collected the
Water Orb, still no morgia. 

On my way to get the RotHK's, I did find some
morgia and moss, but only picked ~20. I had found
an early spellbook of ice ball, and so I decided 
to take him into the ToEF very early. I had only 
99 HP's and no fireproof shield. I fought my way
through to the Orb level, with no inventory at 
all. I left the tower, and returned with a normal
[+3, +1] medium shield. It did last for the 
whole battle with the ACW. I killed the ACW with
ice ball blasts after stunning him with the
stun ray spell. Big thanks to vogon poet for the
tip : )

I got lucky with a greater vault of giants, just
before the casino. I picked up Preserver and the
Ring of Immunity there. The gift shop had many
good spellbooks, including magic map. That made
it a lot easier to teleport my way through the
CoC. I had no beeswax for the Banshee, so I used
an uncursed potion of deafness. It didn't wear 
off before I found the EG, so I had to pass him
while hostile. 

The deafness did wear off in time to speak with
the Cat Lord, so I got the RotMC, and it helped
a lot. The Air Temple was no trouble. The Earth
temple was trouble. I had to use up all of my
PoEH there, leaving none for my battle with the
Archmage, or D:50.

The Archmage battle was epic. I nearly died a
few times, and had a very tough time putting
him away. I finally scored a few hits with
poisoned arrows, and with enough time, they did
the trick. D:50 was actually easier than it 
usually is, as I had some pretty good spells.

I probably won't try the 'turns challenge'
again for a while. It took MANY dead PC's
to reach this mark.
