The first major break was finding a ring of djinni summoning in the Library. I wished for an AoLS for saving Kelly. Then I found another RoDS somewhere and wished for seven league boots, although 90 days had already passed at that point. Two more RoDS's were found later, those were used to get scrolls of chaos resistance. I wanted to do the white unicorn quest and even killed Ruirry already, but then I entered Yrriurs park while chaotic (I was doing the old crone quests) so Yrriur became hostile and I couldn't get the reward. So I needed SoCR's badly. I also found a wand of wishing with 2 charges somewhere in the late game, but I drained it with mana battery corruption and only got the last wish from it (SoCR's again). I had to hunt 40 days in the wilderness for a giant boar skull, which the fourth boar kindly dropped. I got to exp level 50 after clearing a couple of greater vaults (golems and giants). I killed the balors with demon slaying ammo and whacked Andy to critical condition with the Twins, then switched to the Trident. Andy took quite a while to die, but I only had to drink two blessed potions of ultra healing while beating him. I also had still a few scrolls of chaos resistance left.
