Finaly got around to play a 'serious' game of ADOM.
Not all that sucessfull, but still. Started out ok, but had a few minor setbacks
first of all I never did find the raider lord, I scouered the wilderness untill
I ran out of food and had to pray for nutrition (couldn't afford to buy any as
monks start with no money), so I sold all the junk I had collected and made my way
to the arena and picked up 25 cooked lizards (all I could afford at the time).
Then I started to make my way back out, but I was forced to dispose of to many
enemies and raised to level 6... Descided to do the carpenter quest next, but I
guess I wasn't paying enough attention and I didn't realise I had made a mistake
before I was on level 5 of the infinitive dungeon. DOH... Still fighting my way
back out I acululated a LOT of junk and gained a few leves, did most of the
village dungeon burneded, but I was killing everyting in one blow so I didn't realy
mind. Resceued the carpenter and sold all my stuff for a deacent sum. Then I did
my fatal mistake. I descided a level 8 monk schould be capable to deal with the
villans there, and started my crusade. The Master thief was easy enough, he was
more conserned with emptying my buldging purse than to fight back... Next was the
mad doctor, I softened him up with with what proved to be arrows of jelly slaying,
but he still had time to poison me before I finished him off... Then in my folly, I
went after the crime lord, with the doctors poison still burning in my veins...
My arrows failed to harm him at all, and after just one round it became clear my
only chance was to run... There where nowhere to go but out into the wilderness,
but with my level of poisoning I didn't even last a round in the wilderness...

Guess I schould have prayed first, but I only had 1 square between me and the
lord, so it would probably not have helped much, and I'll never know anyhow...
