This is my second win, first submitted to the HoF. Josh started out like I've
recently been starting with my wizards. Read all his books, had a good attacking 
one in the form of frost bolt and went to holeinthewall. I went into the shop,
 ended up killing an assassin first, learned pick pockets, then went to level up
 fast by killing Hotzenplotz and Co. That got me up to either level 5 or 6 
really quickly. Then I went to the ID, went down to L11 and just started going 
up and down the stairs, waiting for spellbooks to be generated while killing any
 monsters I wanted to in the room. I found lots of spellbooks and got to level
 13. Then I went to the puppy cave, found I pool, first drink got intrinsic 
invisibility and stopped drinking after that. Before I even got to Dwarftown I 
had found 4 potions of gain attributes which was unheard of for me.

Went over to Dwarftown, by this time lever 15, pacified the big room, got lots
 of stomafilia and got precrowned with Wyrmlance. Used that for a while and 
accidentally got crowned early with ring of immunity, no complaints there. Did 
the first two dwarf quests then went to the pyramid. Had no problems because I
 was invisible although I didn't have a fire spell yet, which was surprising. So 
I just used the wand of fireballs from Thrundarr and acid bolt. Went to dwarven 
graveyard next – piece of cake. Invisibility easily got me through the first 
level then the second level the Master Necromancer was the first guy I met in 
the big room. Killed him and was able to pour holy water on Griff's grave. Dug 
up the sword, got the gauntlets, and left.

I had no means of teleport control yet, which really disappointed me, so I went 
to get the ring of the high kings hoping to find one on the way. First level I 
heard someone cursing shoplifters. I secretly hoped it was a ring shop and lo
 and behold, it was, and what did they have? A ring of teleport control. Easily 
killed the skeletal king because of my invisibility and acid bolt and left to go
 to darkforge with my new teleport control. Got in, didn't really bother to kill 
anyone until I had more lightning ball spell, just teleported to the two rooms I 
wanted. Found some good weapons but nothing I would use. This is where I found 
my eternium chain mail of life which I wore for the rest of the game.

Now at this time, I decided to try the ToEF. I got in there, had no problems 
killing stuff, got to the top floor and realized I hadn't done the water temple 
yet. I really didn't want to go out and do that first so I stuck with the ToEF. 
Since I had had frost bolt from the very beginning, it had nice effectivity and 
killed stuff with ease. Then I saw the Ancient Chaos Wyrm. I blast it once with 
frost bolt and it blasts me. That blast took 60 of my 80 HP away and I really 
should've run away at this point, but I didn't. What I did, was had a fire demon 
get in the way because they seemed to be dodging the frost bolts pretty well. 
The ACW was right behind the fire demon, which couldn't see me and I just 
blasted it with frost bolt without it blasting me. After that initial damage, I 
took no more damage. The frost bolts would miss the fire demon but hit the ACW. 
I was quite happy with this. Got the orb and got out of there.

I immediately went down and did the water temple with ease. I used the same 
strategy I always do with the Snake from Beyond. Let it get close, cast slow 
monster on it, then just cast fireball, move away, cast fireball, move away,
 etc. Works every time and I never take any damage. Invisibility helped a lot 
here, too.

At this time I just decided I was going to dive all the way to D48 without doing 
any more temples right away, hoping to find a greater vault or two. Got to the 
casino, lots of spellbooks, no artifacts, which disappointed me. Dove all the 
way without any greater vaults although I received the ring of the master cat 
for the first time. I found one vault of red dragons and such and that is where 
I found Whirlwind, completely useless. So then I did the air and earth temples, 
both extremely easy. I had a lot of acid ball and I just used that all the time. 
Then I decided to do the blue dragon caves. Now by this time, I still didn't 
have any SLBs and hadn't found any rings of djinni summoning. But while I'm in 
there, I find two rings of djinni summoning and used one on SLBs. Two seconds 
later, I kill a dragon, and what do I find? Worn boots… I couldn't believe it. 
So I keep on killing easily and guess what? Another pair of worn boots… I 
couldn't believe it. During the whole time down there, not one thing of mine got 
destroyed and it was so easy. Found some artifacts, not really any that stand 
out in my mind. Went up, killed the ancient karmic dragon for experience, this 
got me up to level 45, he never touched me. I would just hit him with magic 
missile until he got close to me. Then I'd teleport to the other side of him and 
magic missile him from that side, and I did this until he died.

Then I did the mana temple. The hardest one to do, but still was really easy. 
Magic missile wreaked havoc on the eyes as did acid bolt, then once I found the 
Archmage I got my willpower up to 32 by wearing stuff (Nonnaks is wonderful 
here, death ray resistance and boost to willpower) then just annihilated him 
with acid ball. Killing him got me up to level 50. Then I went down to D48, got 
rid of the orbs, used my other ring of djinni summoning on a potion of 
uselessness and got staff of the archmagi on D49. D50 was a piece of cake. Dug 
in to the two side corridors, cleared them out. Got Ironfist. Killed any balors 
that came near me with ease with teleport and acid bolt and used my wand of
 destruction to finish it off. Went of the stairs and was all set. I then killed 
the emperor moloch for fun, did the Filk quest. Killed the assassin prince. Went 
to Blups mom, where I found Far Slayer, a little late but oh well. Smithed some 
stuff but not too much, then I left.
