Wanted to rob that scroll shop so I fired a few quarrels at the shopkeeper to lour him out of his shop. However when I noticed that I actualy was doing some dammage to him I remained standing and fired on him as he advanced. Unfortunately I miscalculated his relative speed, so instead of teleportin to safety as I had planned he ended up crossing the last square and turning my wizard to gray elf paste in one turn... Never never underestimate a shopkeeper *kicks himself* Aside from the lack of offensive spellbooks this char did very well, found a shop that carried rings of ice (was planning to go there next and then take on the fire-tower), plenty of altars and things generaly fell into place. Had a little trouble with the mummy lord (only frost bold at the time), however on my way to do the dwarven quests to get the fireball wand I came across a book of improved fireball (I found both invis and teleport quite early and picked up a ring of teleport controll in the ring shop I found en-route to the HMV), and so I turned back and cleaned out the pyramid. Then I cleaned out the dwarwen graveyard, and dug up a few graves, however when an emperpr Lich poped up of the last one I quickly retreated figuring I ought to get some undead slayers before I try to tackle it (IIRC they are not as vulnerable to fire as theyr lesser kin). After that I stopped by the baby dragon and learned Swimming and then headed to the ring shop that had the rings of ice I wanted.
