NOTE: this file may contain comments or information that is considered SPOILERS, if you do not wish to learn this information pleace leave now. Phew! I've done it! My second victory, my first special ending. Still haven't seen Filk, Scintillating Cave, Emperor Moloch, TotRR. And I'm not going to, most likely - this OCG enterprise drained me, in person, for like 10 Wi, 15 Pe, 8 Le and 7 To. The worst thing is - I can't really complain about the game, it was quite nice to me, and even if something bad happened, RNG usually had a nice way of saying sorry. All the problems went from my own stupidity. I'm a stubborn dumbass, and I often did things I wanted to do instead of doing things needed for victory. This works for the normal ending, imho, but specials are quite another story, so I'm quite shocked I did win after all... So, dark elven assassins. Mediocre stats, relatively weak and frail. Bad spellcasting early in the game, virtually nonexistant. Chaotic. So-so skills, no healing, no herbalism, no appraising, no detect item status, no athletics, no concentration, no food preservation. OTOH, Alertness, Find Weakness, Backstabbing, Stealth, Detect Traps, Archery, Dodge. What's good then? Ok equipment - not as good as dwarven priests may get, but I've got a [+0, +8] elven chain mail, that really made a difference early on. Excellent weapon skills - 3 in swords, 4 in daggers and 4 in thrown daggers, which, combined with a heap of daggers they get from the start makes them almost as good as (and in some ways even better than) grey elven archers and hurthling archers at ranged combat. Side note: I was saving and backing up a lot. After losing my wonderful lvl 27 dwarven priest to a windows crash... Well, I didn't want to experience that feeling again. Never restored from a backup, although a couple of times I had a strong urge to do that. But the scumming resistance check was successful. The beginning Can't say much. Either went to SMC or skipped it :-) Anyway, first kill was an orc, which explains why I decided to go for an OCG, instead of some ultra. Raider lord is on my kill list, but not on my achievements list, so I wonder myself what happened there? Anyway, VD: 1 had a chaotic altar, so after some levellings up and possibly some ID dive I went for my usual precrowning. Crown of leadership, not bad at all. Killed Yrrigs (I was going to be purely chaotic, without ever converting, which, of course, made the game more challenging). At that time I already had a knife of vampirism, so I didn't know if I needed that Healing at all. Anyway, I decided to get a few more level increases before going to Kranf Niest. Did PC. There was a bee hive on PC: 1, methinks, and it was horrible. No altars but the first one at VD: 1. Still, I decided I'd want a second precrowning. Took quite a few time, but it was worth it, because the gift was robes of resistance. Served me well. Another ID dive, got a couple of PoGAs I think, but instead of saving them for later blessed and drank them as soon as I could. Healing from Kranf Niest, amulet of chaos from Hotzenplotz, and I was ready to leave for the CoC. (UD? without invisibility and teleportation? No way.) Btw, I've actually found a few spellbooks, including the spellbook of Teleportation, but I had no TC, losing the only blink dog corpse to being bloated without scrolls of uncursing/holy water, and, anyway, trying to read that book I got only ~40 castings, then stopped, not wanting to lose it. The CoC Ugh, nothing special, and nothing special or can't I remember anything special? Don't even know what my first Thrundarr quest was, but I completed it eventually (I think it was on the top level of the Pyramid). The Pyramid itself was relatively easy. Detect Traps saved me a lot of trouble, and the fight wasn't anything special, although I used a few wand charges. Then, Dwarven Graveyard. A few To increases, and artifacts. Nothing special, again, although it was surprisingly easy for my fighter-type, and I thought he'd get more trouble than my normal spellcaster characters. (Oh! I just remembered - I wanted to dig up the graves a bit later in the game, but eventually forgot to do that.) Okay, second Thrundarr quest. It was horrible. I couldn't pass the forest without Invisibility/Teleportation, and I, actually, barely escaped alive - those trees really went hard on me for once. In the process I got my equipment cursed by Lol'th, so I had to go back to VD: 1 (no other altars but the one in the DT) to restore my relationship with the deity. Then tried DH. Horrible. DH: 1. Baby karmic dragon ate my gauntlets of strength, chaos wizard and his WMoPCes slowed and corrupted me, and at the same time a Giant Rust Monster sneaked up on me and ate my knife of vampirism. I barely escaped, killing most of opposition, but severely damaged, and with depleted wands, to enter DH: 2. Bad. Lots of spider factories, but I managed to get through. Then, a moloch by the stairs. There was no way I could've killed him (that stone axe of penetration appeared a lot later), so it was running around with the spiders and the moloch on my tail, then, eventually, I managed to get to the stairs leaving those bastards behind. Btw, both DH had neutral altars... that I never used, finding a few convenient chaotic altars in the levels below. Okay, got to Khelly. I didn't hope to save him soon, but... after finding him I decided to look in the last unexplored room on the level, and there was a werewolf lord, - after killing him and his minions I looked at the loot... *TADAMM!* The glowing wand! Knowing that those are probabilities, not rules (for example, 7LBs in this game were soft boots, and worn boots were either of speed or of sneakiness - can't remember), knowing that, I zapped the wand. What do you wish for? _ *sigh of great relief* By the way, it is the first time I've seen a WoWi. Had a few wishes both from the pools and RoDS, but no WoWis for me before. I wished for an AoLS (identifying my newly obtained items first and seeing that I didn't have one, of course), and quickly ran for Khelly. Luckily, he was literally in the room next door, so it wasn't as thrilling as your usual AoLS delivery run. Got my nice loot, then checked my wands. Oh, that wand has two charges left! Well, looking back, I think that I should've wished for SoCRs, SoCRs and SoCRs. But, having 6 SoCRs in my backpack, and hoping for 9 more - guaranteed - I didn't think it was a priority. So I wished for - 7LBs (got 4, but never needed them, only got one pair destroyed once), GoGS (sure, helpful... and survived the whole game) and Athletics (speed bonus and stuff - although I agree that this, too, was quite a questionable wish). The rest of Thrundarr quests - easy, even that demon fell to some demon slaying quarrels without draining me stats a bit. Got a few St increases from the Ogre cave, got Tactics, of course. Then again, can't say what was the sequence, but I did ToEW (easy), TotHK (ok), DF (no artifacts, but some nice weapons, I think my club of devastation and stone axe of penetration come from there, maybe some other good weapons, too), ventured to Gremlin Cave (got phial and a PoGA, but left it in quite a messy state), graveyard (To!), Banshee, and went to the wall of flames. Got crowned with Far Slayer and ice immunity (stupid me, forgot to wear the mummy wrapping before checking) - and I really hoped for the Serpent's Bite... Meanwhile I worked somewhat on my Wi, To, Dx, but without herbalism and decent herb levels didn't do much. I've read some spellbooks a little, wasn't exactly good at it, but got some useful spells, such as Teleport and SoA. Tried SMC, it was hard, but I've found both the blanket and the downstairs (with the help from cloak of invisibility and amulet of teleport control). There was a forge in UD, and a few herbs, but nothing too useful. The only shop I've seen was figurines, crap. Then, ToEF. This late in the game it was quite easy. Beyound the wall of flames there was a book shop with some quite nice stuff (ADOM certainly wanted my assassin to become a spellcaster, but I resisted). Now, Casino. SoCR, scorched spear and ring of immunity - this was perhaps the best Casino I've ever got, although getting 3,500,000 gp was boring. Shortcut to surface - killed Kherab, got anvil. Now, I was level 27, and demented ratling already ate Big Punch, scythe, phial and crown of science (first I got doomed in the wilderness, found a boar real soon and to my delight he dropped a skull; I also had a WoMC). I needed two more... and I needed PoCC for Gaab-Baay... The solution was obvious - Minotaur Maze. Which I've never seen before. *sigh* Horrible. No, traps weren't bad on me. With ring of searching, Alertness and Detect Traps they didn't have much chance to hurt me. And I haven't seen a single fake level - every time (two times, actually) I was faced with a choice, I chose correct. But the Minotaur Mages... ohh... crap... they're terrible... If you want to know what's Andor Drakon like - try to fight a few Minotaur Mages. They confuse you, and while you stagger around aimlessly, unable to hit them, they close on you, and stat drain you like hell. No, they can't possibly kill you, but they can keep you confused indefinitely, and stat drain you indefinitely... to the point where either corruption or overburdening kills you... Yes, I overemphasize somewhat, but they're real bad. And, most inappropriate, I recieved stiffened muscles just before encountering first one of them. I was stat drained quite a bit, and the fact that minotaur emperor panicked and fled didn't help either. Finally I killed him, but some mages were left alive on the level, and didn't even explore it completely... for the first time in the game. And I didn't explore those fake levels, I just grabbed the loot and fled. So, I needed one more artifact, and I knew what it would be - the Boots of Great Speed. But that had to wait, since I didn't have the very light corruption (and extremely thin and nimble, which was my third corruption, messed up somehow - I didn't get that Dx +6, so my Dx was quite horrible with -12 from the first two corruptions...) Another problem - I was low on food, and ratlings didn't restock. So I became absolute champion of the arena, and bought a few more lizards. Then I did the Rift. Fell, of course, lost lots of stuff, including quite a few wands. Got my weird tome and a bunch of spellbooks and scrolls. Trying to read a few simpler books in the library I was delighted to find that I'm pretty good at it, despite now having Concentration and not being a spellcaster. So I used a potion of boost learning and read the most of my great stash of spellbooks, getting Acid Ball and Ice Ball... which I didn't use much. Also had Lightning Ball, but it was gone without giving me a single casting. Then I went for the DF shortcut. I did the bunnies the usual way - Teleport in, kill Bugs, kill bunny, but it didn't work this time... after checking back for the starting point and coming to the downstairs again I stumbled upon some fifty cheerfully breeding killer bunnies! Tried to fight them but to no avail. Teleported away in terror. Luckily, they were breeding some distance away from both staircases, so instant teleportation worked... I, however, repeated those attempts to eliminate bunnies later in the game, but I never was able to kill them faster than they bred, even with speed about 200 and dagger twins in my clutches... so at that point I finally decided to leave them alone as long as they didn't block the stairs, seeing that I could to nothing to contain this threat... Okay, cat lord. As usual, I didn't bother about saving the cats, so I had a real bad kitty karma. Nonetheless, cat lord fell easily to my wands of poison, wands of stunning and humanoid slayers. Eventually panicked, then I finished him off. ToEA, easy. Master Summoner didn't summon much... he was standing too close to the entrance, so I quickly reached him and assassinated him in a couple of turns. ToEE, I had to go back to the surface in the middle of the fight to remove some nasty corruption, but it was quite easy too. After that, I went to D: 44, where I finally received very light. But on my way back, on a cavernous level, in a cave with a downstairs... there was a dark elven princess... No, I didn't fell in love with her the moment I saw her, we didn't marry, and didn't live a long and prosperous life. Instead she summoned a huge bunch of spiders, and as I was fighting the beasts, something squeezed past them, and that something... looked... like... me?! Doppelganger king. I personally prefer playing spellcasters. And they rarely have a problem with those abominations. But now I understand what all the gossip is about. He almost killed me, twice (or thrice), and I couldn't reach those stairs due to the swarm of spiders... I teleported around like mad, but the doppelganger king seemed to be everywhere, he always catched up with me, and hit me hard... I gave up on fighting him, and was just trying to clear my way to the stairs. After some tense moments I finally managed to go up, but the path into the deeper CoC was blocked... Now I was stuck with doing everything on a surface, until I was powerful enough to do that doppelganger king. First things first. I finally pacified the Big Cave with purple worms, and harvested some herbs. While there were some herb levels in the game, there wasn't anything good, and I was too low on holy water to try anything with them. But the Big Cave gave me a steady supply of stoma, devil's roses, morgia roots and moss patches of mareilon. Sure, speseweeds would make a nice addition, but, as I said, I was low on holy water... Smithed my stuff somewhat, especially elven chain mails. Lost all of my pickaxes and didn't bother repairing them seeing as I didn't have Smithing 100 yet anyway. Dried the pools in the DF, and the single one in PC. Teleportitis and a few nice resistances. No wish. Quickling tree. Used quicksilver staff and a hand crossbow. Should've known better and taken foos of hunting with me. Still, some nice speed increases and Boots of Great Speed for a demented ratling. Actually, taking them to DT was horrible. First some quickling lord stole and equipped them, so I had nice time hunting him. Then, instead of just carrying them with me I contunued kicking them around the upper levels of CoC. Ghost lord came outta wall, stole, equipped, panicked, well... You can imagine that. All my scrolls of repair went on repairing pickaxes, and some charges from wands of digging, too... Finally managed to catch the bastard, but it was incredibly frustrating. Temple of bugs. Had some problems there, but finally prevailed. With my speed around 180, natural Dx around 50, but Wi of 1 I was quite happy - the Big Cave provided me a good supply of morgia roots. Water dragon cave. I was somewhat afraid of dragon turtles, but they died easily to my awesome melee skills. And in treasury there was a sapphire amulet... Oooh :-) Informed Blup, then got back and decided to fight the water dragon for the Preserver. If I die here - so be it. Casted Darkness (the only casting in the game), and stabbed her hard. In three or four turns she was dead, without fighting back or panicking. Some nice loot also was there. And now I finally changed my bracers of regeneration for bracers of toughness (that I lost somewhere later). Also had to take off the Ring of High Kings, since I couldn't use amulets of teleport control anymore and had to resort to the ring of teleport control - still no intrinsic. Now, for the SIL! With 14 SoCRs at Minstrel's I was pretty sure corruption wouldn't be a problem, and fellow forumers reassured me, too. Probably it would've been as said, if only I weren't too stubborn to explore all the levels encountered... Six hours, some greater karmic wyrms, some molochs, some minotaur mages and doppelganger kings later I barely escaped the ID with the Sceptre, being extremely corrupted with no SoCRs. And I had taken five with me, and also found one there. Had to spend three more to get myself to acceptable state of corruption. So now I only had 6 SoCRs remaining with a big chunk of the game still before me... The fact that I was carrying the Sceptre around with me didn't help either - but I still remembered very well that ghost lord stealing my boots of great speed. Well, you see, it's me being stupid almost killed me, not the game. As I said earlier the game was pretty kind to me, but I just wasn't playing it right, and that almost costed me... (I trained my unarmed in the upper ID, then I received the rune-covered trident... Which became my mainstay until the ascent of twin daggers. This trident is real good, I must admit.) At least I had the Sceptre and knew the location of the Stone Circle. Gaab-Baay wouldn't be a trouble too, since I already had a WoMC, a giant boar skull, a PoCC (spent one of the minotaur's two in the BUGCAV, never seen any more), and a RoDS from my ID trip. Had to spend that RoDS on scrolls of danger, hunted in HIVI for farmers for some time - only second one dropped the corpse, got Crown (or was it Medal? no, I think it was Crown). With my speed around 180, trident and a nice weapon skill in polearms, having also on-demand teleportation and Disarm Traps I finally went to clear the Gremlin Cave. Easy. Okay, back into the CoC. The doppelganger king I've left there still was hell (strangely enough his fellows in the ID weren't nearly as bad - they just didn't seem to hit me hard enough), but I managed to kill him, and went deeper into the CoC. On a D: 45 (cavernous) there was a huge pit of berserker emperors. Not a problem... and a wand of wishing in a loot. I zapped it and wished for the SoCRs. The one of the few wise things I've done in the game. Got four. It was the only charge, but I wrenched the final one, and wished for Concentration. Stupido cretino! I should've wished for more SoCRs, Andor Drakon wouldn't've been a tiniest trouble then. With three or four more SoCRs I wouldn't even have to worry about killing him in time! And that Concentration - I wasn't spellcasting a lot anyway!!! Phew. I AM an idiot. At this point I also decided that if I get another wish - I'll spend it on a Courage (being thoroughly chaotic as I was I couldn't get that from barbarian). And that shows just how exactly stupid I am. Luckily, I didn't get no more wishes, so my incredible idiotism didn't get a chance to raise its ugly head again. Now I had nine SoCRs, which was slightly better, but still not enough. D: 46, split. UL: 1 - book shop. Well, I was happy, even though I didn't cast those spells a lot... but the spellbooks of SoA helped, I was already somewhat low on it... UL: 4, ancient karmic wyrm. My winning character almost got himself killed on BDC1, so he was almost happy when accidentally stepped from the stairs, enraging the wyrm - so he didn't have to go back *there*. I was worried, too, but it was easy. I didn't bother to clear the caves, especially the final level, since the corruption was really taking the turn on me. Killed Barney, got Needle. Went back to surface, assassin prince fell to a couple of humanoid slayers, and, whoa... I didn't believe Needle-Sting were so powerful before I've seen that myself :-) I also found a "Hammerhead" somewhere in the BDC, and it WAS helpful, since the next thing I did was some smithing in the UD. Only mined out one level, didn't have a lot to smith up... My bracers, phase dagger, shield and some foos of vampirism mainly. Most of which didn't help me with the rest of the game. Killed an oracle, only got +1 Le from it :-( There was a chaotic altar on UD: 7, so dooming and cursing wasn't a problem, but I still was disappointed... Killed the arena master. That scroll of peace might've been a lifesaver... If they really work in the palace of Andor Drakon. It still wasn't day 240, so I spent some time reading all of my spellbooks, and run around the stone circle until I could enter it. Keriax was very very easy at Clvl 47. I had some considerations about eating the corpse... but... 8 corruptions? And Oracle only gave me +1 Le? No, I'm not going to risk it... (Wise decision! Those 8 corruptions would've certainly killed me.) MT. This time I was well-prepared. Very very easy. Servants and eyes generaly died to a single swing of my daggers, and wizards (including Nuurag himself) died quickly to my 30+ humanoid slaying quarrels+Far Slayer. There were a couple of summonings after Nuurag-Varn fell, but I managed to deal with them in melee. Some annihilator took 1 PV from my bracers, tho :-( On UL: 5 there was a pool, but it dried up on a first sip. *sigh* So, back to surface to get the trinity, and the final dive into the CoC. But before going down I casted a lot of SoA, and, having only two or three SoCRs remaining, decided to give that magical writing set (5) a try. Managed to write 4, both a blessing and a curse. Blessing - those four SoCRs certainly saved me ass. Curse - Ma drained to 1. And SoA is mana-depended! With all the loot I was suddenly Strained! So I had to leave a lot of nice stuff behind, lowering my score. Also read my only scroll of education hoping only not to get something stupid like Gardening... it was Courage :-) I'm telling you, the game was really kind to me. D: 48. Easy. D: 49. Uselessness - bah, hammer of the gods :-( I was hoping for the bracers of war... I've never seen them, and they would've been real useful... D: 50. Very very easy. No, really. My character was a tank. He just sliced through those chaos legions without even stopping to recover his breath. Even balors were easy, and I took on some of them in melee. Fisty summoned some molochs, but they were absolutely helpless against my daggers. (Only by this time I've got Alchemy 100... what do you think the recipe for PoGA was? Potion of strength + PoCC... Couldn't've been nastier...) I could've finished the game easily, I even had a Wand of Destruction, but I really wanted to see the chaos plane. I had about 16 corruptions, and I was getting rid of the nasty ones on my trip here (which was yet ANOTHER stupid thing), so I only had 5 SoCRs remaining. Collected the loot, and it WAS wise - moloch armor wasn't very helpful with my 4 Ma (still managed to train one point of Dx while waiting for the corruptions), but magical writing set (1)... oh, losing all of my Ma again? I don't care, I want that SoCR!!! So. Sorted my stuff. Dropped a lot to get to unburdened. Equipped the Trinity properly. Uncursed everything. Checked my alignment. C-. Ok. Very well. Checked the torch and all the other stuff. All ok. Soon I was extremely corrupted. Whoo... Lit the torch. Drank Pe, Dx, St, Wi, Ma boosters. Drank my five blessed potions of boost speed (got about 350). Took a deep breath. Entered the gate. For a moment I thought the game was fucked up. TB, you shouldn't be scaring people like that! ChAoS plane. Dropped the medal and the crown. Equipped crown of leadership and the Preserver. Read all of my SoCRs, only six of them. Read all of my five blessed scrolls of peace (don't know if this was helpful, but I decided to take risk of losing five turns in exchange for a possible reduction in background corruption). Zapped WoMD. Andy was far away... and surrounded by lots of purple 'j's... So I zapped a wand of teleportation... Didn't work. Very dissappointed and feeling that I'm gonna die here, I walked there on foot, but... on a second step my teleportitis kicked in, an it worked. Teleported right next to Andy and started whacking at him. Gaining two corruptions he was still only slightly damaged. Absolutely sure now that I'm gonna become a WMoPC, I unequipped the Sceptre, and started using my twin daggers. After taking him to critical, and some five more blows for a good measure, I equipped the Sceptre again and whacked him some more. All of this time it was pure hell. Background corruption, corruption from WMoPCes, corruption from Andy himself, stat drains from Andy, confusion, slowing... And Sceptre didn't seem to do much damage... I was absolutely exhausted when Andor finally fell... I couldn't believe it, but I really did it. I've slain the elder chaos god. Whoo... I wasn't even exactly happy... too tired for that. And too angry for my own stupidity. I should've been far more conservative with my corruption removals, and shouldn't've stayed that long in a higly corrupting areas such as that deep ID. And I should've used my wishes wiser. With ten or twelve SoCRs in my backpack Andy would've been sooo easy to beat. Uhh... anyway. I think I'm gonna quit. No more. I'll just try that human mindcrafter for a couple of levels. - No Greater Vaults (and maybe that's for better, I might've tried Greater Undead and they would certainly either kill or disable me) - 7 wishes: WoWi (3) - werewolf lord on the Khelly level, RoDS - deep in ID, WoWi (1) - berserker emperor pit ~D: 45 (spent on: AoLS, 7LBs, GoGS, Athletics, ?s of danger, SoCRs, Concentration; should've been: AoLS, 7LBs, GoGs, PoCCs, ?s of danger, SoCRs, SoCRs) - 2 PoCC (minotaur emperor), 6 SoCRs from Khelly, 1 SoCR from HIVI, 1 SoCR from Casino, 5 SoCRs from Weird Tome, 3 SoCRs from BUGCAV, 1 SoCR from ID, 4 SoCRs from wish, 1 SoCR from BDC, 5 SoCRs written in six tries; 27 SoCRs total, none left :-| - Random artifacts: crown of leadership (first precrowning), robes of resistance (second precrowning), Far Slayer (crowning), scorched spear (Casino), ring of immunity (Casino), Preserver (water dragon cave), dwarven pick-axe (BDC), hammer of the gods (uselessness) - Forgot to: loot the graves, clear the animated forest with my scorched spear, try out figurines and SoFSes, and, perhaps, some other stuff, too. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Screenshot ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ### ##.. #.##... #. .#.#.... #.#. # # .#...#. .#.##.# # .# #.#....# ##...#..# #.# .# #....#..#.##.##..## .. .#.##...#..#.##.#.....# .## #.#.##.##.#..###......# .## #..#...#....#......## #.. #.#....#....#@#.&.j #.## #........##..##.j ...# #...#.[##.###..j#Y YY.# #...#.....#...##.#.jj#jj.# #.# ###..###.##....Yj@jjj# . #....# ...###...j&j#.j# ##...#..# #...####...Yj### ##.##... ..... #...j...# .##...#. #..#.## #..##..## # ###### ################ Rhys Mortis St:42 Le:23 Wi:33 Dx:50 To:61 Ch: 5 Ap: 1 Ma:21 Pe:61 C- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Actual non- 42 ~30 ~20 50 47 4-5 ~25 1 ~25 boosted stats before ChAoS plane (approx., from memory) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DV/PV: 53/71 H:786(1085) P:0(318) Exp: 50/31571704 ChAoS Sp: 254 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Natural speed was like 185-190 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Blessed Bloated Berserk ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Background Information ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Rhys Mortis Race: male Dark Elf Class: Assassin Eye color: amber Hair color: white Complexion: black Height: 5'10" Weight: 2 pounds Scars: 3 > (1 from BUGCAV, 2 from > corrupted tissue) Age: 177 (grown-up, 34 years of unnatural aging added in) > recipe for potion of youth was something horrible, > can't remember it precisely, tho Star sign: Dragon Birthday: 7/Dragon (day 157 of the year) YOUR HISTORY: Your parents are travelling adventurers. You are a living mana battery. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- His further life: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After slaying Andor Drakon and absorbing his powers you quickly grow accustomed to your new might. You enjoy yourself slaughtering your opposition for a couple of moments and then prepare for a greater goal... the conquest of your former home world. To your own surprise you have to realize that omnipotence is a stretchable word and that you no longer are strong enough (maybe due to the heavy fighting before) to pass the Chaos gate or even send malicious energies through it to harass Ancardia. Thus you bide your time and enjoy yourself sending Chaos troops to Ancardia every couple of centuries. This continues until you are finally strong enough to create a bridge between the planes of Chaos and Ancardia. Sadly a nasty surprise is waiting for you: the heroic folks of Ancardia obviously did not forget the last incursion of Chaos and this time a hero is prepared to challenge you. Bathed in the radiance of Law and Goodness He enters your home plane and challenges you to a battle. To your very surprise your dark magics don't effect him and you are killed in a long battle. In the last seconds of your life, facing the might of the hero of light, you wonder if everything could have been different, had you made some other decisions in your mortal life... > Blah blah blah... In fact I killed him, and took TotRR from his cold, > lifeless body, and then ate his cold, lifeless body, and got +25 To for > that :-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- His achievements during his adventures: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rhys Mortis, the dark elven assassin, managed to become a ChAoS gOd.
