First of all it started pretty well, visited Holeinthewall, killed an outlaw, went in the SMC, did the raider lord quest, saved puppy and got a nice green adamantium spear and some precious protective stuff from the vault and noticed there was a lawful altar in the same level, so after saving Yrrigs and learning detect traps skill, bought loads of food and went for a precrowning. Expected a crappy gift, but got the awesome Nature's Companion leather armor! I almost decided to forget about preprecrowning, but luckily not!! After 15 days of saccing I got extremely close and eagerly pressed _. Not a bad start, the bracers of war!! Whee! I have never received two gifts as good as those! So, I happily descended to the SMC caves, and bumped into a book shop! The RNG was pretty messed up.. :) Stole some nice books after drinking a !oI, Ice Ball, Teleport, Death Ray.. Then I did the dwarf quests, the first was a large rust monster, which I thought would take some time but no.. the next level down! :) Next went to get the phial of Caladriel, then =oHigh Kings, and off to hunting some AoLS. Went to kill the dwarven artificier and to get some xp there. The weapon room had the staff of the archmagi, and one of the steel golems dropped a glowing wand, a wand of wishing with 2 charges! Wished for seven league bootss, and the AoLS. Did the ToEF, no problem because of the Ice Ball spell. On my way to the casino I saved Khelly, bumped into a potion shop, and a few levels down a ring shop with a nice ring of immunity for sale!! Incredible.. :) The casino provided me with the jet-black battle axe and a ring of djinni summoning, so corruption wasn't obviously a problem. For the first time ever i succeeded in the cat quest, and what a nice ring it was.. :) Accidentally killed a cave lion on my way back up, but it didn't matter at the time. By the way, does it give extra points if you end the game still wearing the cat's eye ring? One greater vault, the worst, undead one. But after a long time and some stat drains it was empty and I got away with one pair of iron gauntlets and a scorched spear richer. The rest of the game was a little boring, but my dear companion, Zeth the female quickling lord lich (L102 in the end!) added some flavor to the game. Necromancy is cool! I didn't raise too many corpses, because I was afraid of the alignment change.. Got crowned with the sapphire amulet, BTW! After saving the world I went for the trident of Red Rooster, visited the quickling tree, did the Blup quest and scummed the blue dragon caves and the shops for some time for stat bonuses and xp. Got bored and left the Drakalor Chain.
