In a distant land there was a city ruled by mighty orcs.
There, in a warrior family Shannon was born. Her mother was an elite
soldier in the orc army, his father was a craftman.
So the poor Shannon had to live under femine domination:
her mother decided that only girls had to be warriors, while the poor
Shannon had to be a craftsman. Oh well the strength rules.
Shannon's father was a very weak man, he wasn't able to teach his son
well. So Shannon managed to have a lot of free time by running away from work.
But he was the only young orc who had such a free time: in
the other family males ruled so the other young males orc were practising
combat all day. So he used to spend alone whole days in the near forest.
One day he walked more far away then usal. Then in a little open space
covered with tall grass a giant boar appeared. In spite Shannon wasn't a threat
for the boar, the evil animal charged forward him.
The boar was right close to him, when a pair of hands emerged from the ground and
pulled Shannon underground. Then his senses faded.
When he woke up, he found himself on chair. In front of him there was an
old dwarf dressed in a black robe. Next to him there were two strange being,
they looked dead but they moved still.
"So you are the young orc my servants saw in the forest lately."
said the dwarf. "You are lucky today, I don't need any more mindless servants and
my assistant died the other day, killed by that boar. He's next to you now."
Shannon was astonished, he didn't believe anything alike could exist.
"So you'll become my new assistance. No refuse allowed, do you know what I mean?
I'll tell the orc chief that you'll be my new assistant, now go home, and come
back early tomorrow"
"But.." Shannon tried to replay. "No But. It's this or death.
Now go home".
At home Shannon told everything to his family, then the mother saied:
"So you are the new one assistant of that fool! I don't know why the king
has made an alliance with him. Never trust a dwarf I always say.
Rising deads to let them figth again is cool, but he is a dwarf".
The next day Shannon was very excited, he wanted to learn many things
about his new master.
As soon as he arrived, the dwarf saied: "You are late boy, now take this and
start washing this place, now!".
"What?" Shannon was thinking while cleaning the master's room. "But an assistance
is supposed to learn and help the master with his activity,
why cannot those undead things do this work?"
The next days things didn't change.
A month of hard work later, Shannon asked his master about some real work.
"Master, you told me you didn't need a mindless servant, but it looks like
I'm just a waiter. When can I learn something or help you with some of your work.
Why cannot the undead do this work".
The Master looked at him with a threating face, then he sayed.
"The undead only kills, this is their destiny. They are doomed by their master's power
to do what that power call them for" Then he paused. "So you want to learn..."
"Come with me, I found a corpse of a young orc lately..."
The two went into a room, the dwarf ordered Shannon to set up all the things needed.
Then he carried the orc corpse over the floor in the middle of pictured star.
Then he turned on the light, then Shannon realized that the poor orc was
an old friend of him. The two of them were very bound during the early childhood, before
his friend started going to the combat school.
Shannon felt sad. The dwarf knew. Then the necromancer evocated an incantation,
the corpse shook, then the corpse started moving. Shannon ran to his friend, but he couldn't see
no friendship in him. "No soul, no fear, no sorrow, only a body they borrow.
They are doomed to kill, this is their master's will".
Shannon was sad, he wanted to learn, he wanted to lear how an undead will could be
controlled.
The apprentship day were hard, Shannon could learn very little, since the master made him
clean always his place, and when something interesting was about to happen, the master
kept it always secret.There weren't open lessons, the master didn't like to teach,
Shannon could only see what the master was doing, but he could never learn how he was doing that.
After few months Shannon got tired and decided to start reading some book in the
master's library. He managed to made this fact secret. He was glad the undeads couldn't talk.
So he could learn a little, and the experiments of the master become always clearer to Shannon's
mind.
A day Shannon found a little dead ant, so he wanted to try his skills.
He evocated a simple incantation, then dead ant corpse started moving.
Next to the dead ant, there was another ant which was carring a heavy seed.
The undead ant went closer and helped the alive ant to carry the seed to the nest.
Shannon was surprised. Wasn't undead doomed to kill?
Months passed away and Shannon could learn little more.
One day something bad happened: while looking for an interesting book, Shannon found a strange
tome. It was written by his master. So he started reading.
"Darknight day, month of wolf
The other dwarfs have discovered me, but they are too late, tonight the cementery will
be awake and the city will be mine"
"1st of Firstweek, month of wolf
evil dwarven paladins, they have defeated my undeads. But I'll return with much more
power!"
"5th of Firstweek, month of wolf
I' ve found a nice place where I can study in peace"

An orc patrol found me, but they were no match for my powers, now I have more servants"

The orc king come to me with two hundred man, it looks like an orc managed to escape.
I proposed an agreement: We would invade the dwarf city toghether.
The fool accepted! After the dwarf city, I'll conquer the orc city too
Andor will be very pleased, I'll return to the Drakalor Chain as soon as I've done
my work"
In that moment the manster returned, he had a very threating face.
"It looks like I'll need another assistant" the master saied. "Go my servant, put an end
to his life". Shannon was paralized, the undead orc went to him, then he lift his axe.
Shannon looked him in his eyes... the undead remained there for a second.
"What are you doing" boomed the
dwarf necromancer, the undead orc hit with his axe. He missed.
Shannon regained senses and escaped, he was carrying the tome with him.
The old dwarf wasn't very fast, neither his undeads were fast.
Shannon evaded a few bolt spells and run in the forest.
Few hours later the necromancer's lair was surronded and seized by the orc army.
Few days later Shannon decided:
"I'll go to the Drakalor Chain, I know that in that place the answers to my
question about undeads lyes". His parents agreed.
So his jurney began.
On the darknight of Unicorn Shannon reached the Drakalor chain, then he went
to visit the village of Terynio.
There the people looked at him with suspecious face, they didn't trust an orc.
Only a tiny girl come to him.
"You are a big guy,can you go and retrieve my doggie for me?"
"The dog is in a dangerous cave, please go and save him"
Shannon knew that caves hide many secrets, so he decided to go.
In the cave Shannon killed an orc and made a zombie aut of him.
Then he found the little puppy, and he ordered the zombie to defend it.
The zombie ran to the exit with the puppy on his shoulder, so Shannon
returned to the village, the zombie gave the puppy back to the girl and the girl
gave him a candy.
The sheriff saw their brave deed and asked them to defeat the raider lord, Shannon
wanted to talk a little with the druid so he dispatched the zombie.
The green druid talked about a black druid, and asked Shannon to defeat him,
the Shannon would be reward with knowledge.
Shannon went in a sinister cave, there he found the black druid sorrounded by many
animals. The animal attacked Shannon, he had to fight back.
"My animals will destroy everything, and the chaos will reign" saied the druid.
"They had fear the most, so their mind had lost. They are doomed to kill, this is
their master will".
The black druid cast a darkness spell, so Shannon charged forward impaling him
with his spear. So little by little the light returned and the animals returned docile
as ever. Shannon took the black torc from his neck.
When he returned to the village, he showed the black torc to the green druid.
The druid sayed "the source of chaos is at east, go and stop it".
In that moment the zombie returned, he was carrying the body of the raider lord,
the sheriff wanted to give the money to Shannon, but Shannon refused since it was
his zombie's deed. Shannon offered to the sheriff the aid of his zombie, so the zombie
remained in the village as a guard.
There Shannon went in the cavern of Chaos. There he found a dwarven city.
A strange rat asked him six artefact. In Exchange the rat would reveal a secret to him.
Shannon worked a lot and took to the rat six artifact:
the black torc, the axe of the minotaur emperor, the phial of caladriel,
the big punch, the crown of science, the moon sickle.
Meanwile he has found that an emperor minotaur mummy can be a funny compaign.
The rat talked about a stone circle, so Shannon decided to visit the place.
There he found a dragon, the minotaur mummy was happy to smash him in many pieces.
Then Shannon found a crown and he realized that this was the secret.
Before returning to the cavern, Shannon passed through the mountain village, there an old
crone asked for some item. One of which was a corpse of a peasant, Shannon didn't know
what to do, so he dug a grave a took a peasant corpse.
The crone gave him a medal.
Then Shannon returned in Cavern of Chaos, in the deep level under dwarf town he found
khelavaster. The poor guy was going to die, but Shannon gave him his amulet of life Saving.
Khelavaster saied to Shannon a lot of thing about chaos. Then he went away.
On his way down Shannon found a lot of temple, defeated the guardians of the temple,
took the orbs, defeated the enemy of a karmic wyrm, put the orbs on their place on the level
48. But Shannon needed the fire orb too, so he went back on the surface.
While going to the tower of flames, he passed by the assasin guild and the prince asked
him to kill Filk.
Then Shannon went in The ID, defeated Filk, went to the minstrel. The mad minstrel
told him about a secret, he went in the scintillanting cave and defeated the emperor moloch.
Then he took the crumpled scroll to khelavaster who summoned an old trident.
The Shannon went in the fire temple, defeated the guardian and he got the last orb.
Meanwhile The One Who See noticed Shannon's good deed.
The god saied to him "Shannon, you are a good boy". "So zombie and skeletons can be very
useful to keep order". Shannon saied: "Yes they are good to do a lot more things:
they can help people in need, they can do harsh and dangerous work, they can keep
clean the place of old or sick people" then he paused. "If they had a soul they
could be friend".
"A soul you say?" saied the god "There are many being in this world that die, but
their soul doesn't rest in peace 'cause they did evil deeds and feel guilty.
Maybe these soul can expire their guilt by inhabiting a dead body and
doing good things for the livings, so they can rest in peace later."
"Really?" asked Shannon. The god answer "Yes, I'll teach you my child, but now
you have to stop the chaos first".
So Shannon resumed his quest, he went on Lv 50 of the caver of chaos, and entered
the chaos gate. There he was challenged by the chaos God.
After an hard battle Shannon was victorious and become an avatar of order.
From that day on, all the souls doomed to expire their guilt in the purgatory would
inhabit an undead corpse, so they could do something useful for the world.
"Now their smart 'cause they have an hearth, so they will live still, to
follow order with their own will".
