Well, this game was something of a first for me.  It was the first time I've
been crowned, and I thought this character was pretty promising: nice early
stats, a good range of spells, and thanks to being crowned I had a really
nice melee weapon in Sun's Messenger.  I think it was also the first high
elven wizard I've played, and I've been playing on and off (mostly off) since
gamma 9.  But the RNG once again had the last laugh, as I died in a room
that had a horrible amount of traps.  I thought that since I was lucky and
Fate smiled on me I might have a chance, but no...(I believe the order was
acid (which missed), stone block, fireball, corruption, stone block).
