Hmm I really want to know how the hell you managed that. My best effort stopped at lvl 37 when the whole SMC was filled with (highly experienced) chaos spawns... As a side note, there is already one person who completed the challenge, though he used 1.0.0. prerelease 1 to complete it. The Great Wyrm of Order breathes light (more) - wow, you feel very smart! |

Level 37 is still highly impressive. What r/c combo did you use? Did you apply any particular strategy? What version were you playing? Do you believe it is even possible to achieve? |

Gnomish elementalist. 0.9.9 gamma 16p2. Stategy = find a nice dead end - bolt - bolt - bolt - rest - repeat... and pray some of the stuff you kill drop books to renew your number of castings. The problem is to kill any breeder that gets generated, because it stops monster generation and becomes unkillable after a while. When a chaos spawn appeared in LOS, I knew it would mean the end... My record: lvl39, died to highly experienced red worms, and got stuck in a room. I was an orcish barbarian, and my tactic was to lure them to a dead end, similarly, then pummel... and used wolfs/bears to tank... But those worms kept fireing me, so I died. With my Skullcrusher. Of course it was easier to reach a decent level for eternium man challenge with gamma 16. With 1.0.0 it should be harder, and with 1.1.1 almost impossible. At level 30, you'd prolly encounter not only highly experienced monsters, but highly experienced uber-monsters... and they would be worth no xp.
