If anybody wants, i have a idea, lets see whos the CHAMPION OF ADOM. Everyone post their adom char here and well see hows it going, i know there is a thread like this but this time its hard. You MUST inform me now, to get in. its 2 days time to get in, IF YOU DIE YOU ARE OUT, no coming back. If you cheat, i have nothing against that but now you MUST NOT CHEAT Winner is the last man standing, or He who has biggest score at end of the game. Ill play too but i think ill die pretty easily. YOU CAN COUNT YOUR SAVED CHAR IN GAME, i mean that if you have saved game where you are example a lvl 10 orc barbarian you can play whit it, NO NEED TO START NEW CHAR. BUT DO NOT START A SAVE SCUMMED CHAR. Remember that dead is dead, if you die you will be wiped out of the champion of adom race! The Contest will last 10 Days, Starting NOW Everybody have a fair and enjoyable game. The Price: Everyone will know that you are the supreme ADOM player! And ill but in my Sicnature the name of the Champion. If this gets popular ill start another one after about 20 days. HAVE FUN! LET THE GAMES BEGING! i think i'll pass. i'll be dead before i reach level 6 anyway. i'd say that 1 in 10 of every character i create makes it to level 6 :P i'll continue playing my other one though. Month of sword, so I'm going for a female drakeling ranger. Just died. Level 14, drowned trying to escape a horde of super-spiders. Hate that bug!! Edit: Oh, BTW, accomplishments: Completed the puppy quest (dead puppy), killed the black druid, went through the UD, finished all but one Arena fight, precrowned with the black tome of Alsophocus (ugh... but thankfully only three levels away from HMV shop). Was looking for an ettin to kill for the dwarven elder when a dark elven wizard summoned way too many spiders... I killed over 150 of them trying to get to the wizard, but eventually they got too powerful and, since I was out of prayers (not a good thing for a priest especially!) I took a chance on escaping across a four-space river without the Swimming skill. Ended up at exactly 0 HP, on the last space of the river. Maybe haven't been sacrificing enough goats to the RNG? He's at level 11 and he is in Dwarftown, has done the two first of Thrundarr's missions, trying to get better before the Ogre tribe mission. Hello, Iīd like to join too. My char is a Human Ranger named Jenda. Now he is at level 13 and I must admit he is quite a lucky guy till now - started with leather armor [+2,+3], found a short sword of mayhem in the PC... yummy... cloak of protection, gloves [-1,+4], he saved both Yrrigs and the puppy. Now he is on his way back to dwarven elder. Had to kill a large snake as the first quest and in the infinite dungeon succeeded. Toughness 17 (max 18), strength 20 (22). His HP is 129 now... Alighment NL... really sexy lad:-) |

Jugos is still alive and he has done all of Thrundarr's quests exept for the "portal" quest. Had some problems with a Ogre Lord and a couple of Ogre magis. Had to face Lii-Hon-Kay as 20:th arena opponent, no bigger problems thoug it could have been easier if I had the see invisible instrinct. The greater Daemon was no match, but he drained some stats(Learning by 2 and Toughness by 3 points. Jenda died. Grrrr! I canīt believe that, cos he was killed in the ogre cave by a magnus.... he was at lvl 14, Hp 160, max. toughness and PV/DV about 30/20... the ogres were unusually tough. |

Wow, for once I actually have a pretty good character: Alex, the High Elven Bard St:15 Le:23 Wi:10 Dx:22 To:11 Ch:18 Ap:20 Ma:13 Pe:17 Started with 4 talents, got heir & alert, I now have treasure hunter talent. Got a whole load of skills including healing, find weakness, food preservation, pick locks, smithing. Now level 6, I have healing at 100 already, blessed 7 league boots, and a bunch of unIDd pots. Jugos is still alive and he has now defeated Rehetep (found a crown of fire next to the down stairs of the first floor in the pyramid) and Nonnak and got a holy symbol, a RoStunTesistance and a bone from Thrundarr. Jugos has now saved Khelly (first time ever) and gotten the SoCR and a spellbook of teleportation which will probably come in handy because I have Teleport control, also gotten the "You exhale sulphur" corruption not very useful with a Drakeling. Okay, my second character just died, level 13. I now know that Lightning Lizards can bounce their breath off walls, too... repeatedly... Picture something like this scene: ### #@. .l# ### And imagine what happens when this lizard decides to spit lightning... twice... Of course, the lizard is completely immune, not a scratch, when my poor PC is at about -120. Do I have a 3rd try? Jugos is now at lvl 16 after finding a tension room full of Stone Giants. Still trying to gain more levels. Even decided to try out Darkforge but had a lot of problems with the steel golem guarding the stairs so I Decided not to decend t Darkforge yet. Haven't killed any cats yet.
