Here's a random question for ya, folks: What's the most bizzare or twisted thing you've ever done in the game before, on purpose or otherwise?
A couple of mine are:

- Giving the tiny girl her cute puppy...after killing it and cooking the corpse first. ~evil cackle~

- Killing and (if they leave corpses)eating all of the farmers in Terinyo. Same for the bandits in Law.

- Turning the Barbarian's Glade into a library for all of my spare spellbooks. (After dispatching with the Old Barbarian, of course.)

I know there's gotta be some funny ones out there, so let's hear 'em!

Can only think of one: giving the tiny girl EIGHT cute dogs to compensate the failure to save the original.

If I had some RoDS in current game perhaps I could fill Terinyo with greater molochs...

Did they take damage from the heat?

With my Naked Troll Barbarian I once cleared a couple levels of the ID weilding the Cute dog corpse. Gleefully beating goblins and kobolds with the corpse of teh little dog. I then went and beat the little girl to death with the cute puppy corpse then ate it!!...if the little girl left a corpse I probibly would have beat the farmers with her!!!....I know this sounds REALLY demented, but I wanted to see how far I could go after feeding poison candy to the children of teninyo.

Can you imagine being bludgeoned to death with a dead kobold? the thought alone makes me want to puke..lol

please don't judge me...i'm not that strange

They did not... moreover, I tried to zap 'em with firebolt, but they seemed to get a LOT less damage than I expected... Probably ToEF itself lowers damage from fire spells... Well, I finished them off with lightning bolt, or something ;).

one funny thing... starving in the wilderness, nothing to eat, no survival skill. "You are ambushed by a red dragon" first thing I thought "FOOD" :D
the average adventurer hardly considers a dragon mainly as a source of food =)
think about, say, forgottern realms...
the dragons there are preeeeetty tough :D

I had just finished off a huge tension room, and I had 1 or 2 HP left. I turned around, and a rat bit me. I died. My brother still makes fun of me about that one.

You hit the living wall (easily cutting through its armor with the phase dagger (+2, 1d4+2)) and severely wound it. The living wall bleeds from its wounds.

This is a quote that seriously messed up my sense of logic:

I thought gargoyles were geological, not biological!

Well I just got one of these. My level 24 priest is in the process of running the Assassins guild and just got to the entry. Walked down the hall and found the secret door and there was a master assassin waiting just inside and got this.
"You hit the master assassin and severely wound him. The master assassin decides to fight to the death in a blind rage! The master assassin attacks the master assassin. The master assassin is killed!."
Hey I know this character is doing well, but suicide seems a bit extreme :)!

P.S. Last one died right after wishing for seven league boots (Yep got multiple pairs but that dont help with a stream of acid :( ).

Watching water elementals getting killed by "friendly fire" from other (greater) water elementals is pretty bizare. Maybe we should RFE implementing "water resistance" for water elementals :P

Yeah, how would WATER affect a WATER ELEMENTAL, seeing as they are MADE of water... I also just had fun creating a wiz, running into Holeinthewall and blowing myself up via alchemy in Hotzenplonz's Haus. What a martyr... *sniff*

Why would a ratling duelist appear in Terinyo? *curious*

I'd guess it was either summoned or wished for, since:

1. AFAIK ratlings do not appear in wilderness
2. One can't leave a dungeon with a hostile monster in adjacent position

The image of a tiny girl slaughtering an adventurer using the Moon Sickle is interesting, though...

There are sometimes ratling duelists in HMV and they're not always hostile. Ratling duelists are sometimes very funny...

"The image of a tiny girl slaughtering an adventurer using the Moon Sickle is interesting, though..."

Heh I just got an image of an insane Sailor Moon...

Anyway one time when I was beneath the Dwarven City I came across a room full of baby white dragons-that was odd.

There was also the time a female dopplehanger fought herself to the death. I went kinda like this:
-You focus your magical energies on the spell.

-Female Doppleganger is hit by the icy bolt! The Female Doppleganger screams with fury!

-You become more effienct in using the frost bolt spell (Now 16+)

-The Female Doppleganer decides to fight to the death in a blind rage! The female doppleganger attacks the female doppleganger. The female Doppleganger suddenly looks like the female Doppleganger! The female Doppleganger seems to be confused. The female Doppleganger is killed!

(I took a screenshot of the message buffer of this amusing event.)

"Heg'An-Shabbutt, the great blue wyrm, equips the uncursed gauntlets of peace (-15, -15) [+3, +4]. You hit Heg'An-Shabbutt with full force and slay him."

I've had monsters equip gauntlets of peace before. It's very convenient, since they glow in a black light on monsters, which means that I knew the cursed gauntlets I picked from his corpse weren't safe.
The following is a real Adom message:

Heh. I thought of something brilliant. Get gauntlets of peace and lay them on the ground, then get a particularly diffcult monster to walk onto the space where you left the gauntlets.

"Andor Drakon wears gauntlets of eternal peace. The gauntlets glow in a black light. Andor Drakon looks stunned and confused. Andor Drakon begins sing. Suddenly flowers appear on his temples. You see Andor Drakon weeping. It seems that you have won your holy quest!"

The rust monster touches your blessed Trident of the Red Rooster. Nothing happens. You laugh at the monster's pitiful attempt.
