I would appreciate it if anybody could tell me the location of "Bugville". Also what is it? A town of humanoid bugs?

One more thing. What does having 'Courage' skill do?

Thanks!

The Bug Temple is located in the mountains past the Mad Minstrel's hut. It's filled with extremely dangerous bugs and some great equipment.

Courage keeps your fighting ability from degenerating when you're surrounded by hostile monsters.

Okay I've gotten to bugville. I've went down the stairs and smashed all the statues except the unfinished hero one. What am I supposed to do with that one? Also, besides getting items from the statues, what else are they supposed to do?

The unfinished hero statue is still a mystery, but I've heard the messages on the statues are clues to something that may or may not yet be part of the game.

Actually, they're code bugs that have been fixed with the aid of the people whom the statues depict.

perhaps the unfinished hero is you... *g*
i just had a thought: what if you returned to bugville after beating the game, but before breaking that statue? perhaps the statue would be finished...

My guess is that it goes to the person who actually finishes a (non-cheating) Eternium Man game.

No, it will not be finished.. I've visited the bugville a couple of times after closing the gate and it's still unfinished.

Also, smashing the middle statue (which is the unfinished) makes you get the "he stopped the generation of nasty bugs" in your winningmessage.. or something

Zuzz, you're not doing anything wrong, it's just that in version 1.1.1 the bugs can now see invisible characters. Probably TB thought that it was too easy in version 1.0.0, when an invisible character could zap the bugs to death without them ever laying a claw on him.

I presume Zuzz was more surprised about animals (bugs) attacking a druid which they shouldn't do. Apparently bugville is considered a special place like vaults and tension rooms where normal rules don't apply.

I once went into bugville with a druid, and they didn't attack me until i accidentely attacked one, was only 8th level too. Even in coward, that killer bug hit me every time.

It's easy experience for good archers (elves, hurthlings with rocks) though. Kill them before they get to you, the first greater claw bug you kill will get you to lvl 5-6.

Telekinetic blasts should hit anything. But they are stupid, mindless bugs, so no interacting with their brains.
