I found a pool, got somthing like 4 intrisics I think, including see invisible, acid resist, and poinson resist, but got dooming as well. But there have been about 3 altars I think, One in the small cave (Chaotic, for when I was chaotic) and one in The Druid dungeon level 3 (Neutral, because I am now neutral), and one in the CoC level 2(Lawfull) so i now have an altar for each of the alignments isn't it wonderfull :P Plus I got gloves of dexterity which is kinda cool, plus 2 to dex. I will get his stats as I didn't have time too tommorow. He also has about 4 or 5 blessed waters to use if I encounter anyhing that needs one. "I concur that we are both atheists. yeah i say that too... i don't know why i joined in with a priest (they aren't a bad class, not in hell) since I have problems keeping 'em alive.. I thought about wpnsmith but have finished with them two times so they get kinda boring (imo maybe the best class in game)... I might try something like ranger~ |

definitely try it first... I'd suggest the tomb of the high kings... I'd suggest that you'd be at least level 20 before entering the toef, and having a highish hp (250~~)... also you should be able to deal 50dmg/round, bolt or melee, to take the acw down :I |

I am taking it real slow with Alagor, hanging out in ID:10 for a while yesterday got me 4 potions of gain attributes, I drank one un-identified and it HAD to be cursed... anyways, he has tons of water in this game for some reason, but I like it, I blessed all the potions of gain atts (Except the one that wa cursed). Spok, the dark elven fighter, has already done the water temple! Now he's looking for some means of confusion resistance for ToEF/TotHK and something to get past the piranha lake on TotHK. Great! Dwarven mystic gave Spok two PoGAs, which will be saved until stats have been herb scummed to 25, *lots* of herbs generated. No herbalism, but scrolls of uncursing are common anyway... Damn, Spok got precrowned with scorched spear and later crowned with long sting :-/ I was hoping for Protector... |

Herb scummed? Is that where you save your game, copy it to another folder, use the herbs, and re-do it if you don't get what you want? Because if it is, it is cheating. If you're going to determine winning by the game's score points, then please nobody make the traders guild owe you money. It's bugged and you can get a score ranging from -1 billion to 1 billion if you do it(check out some of C's chars @ADOM HoF). Oh, and herb scumming, WTF? You can get Wi, Dx and To to 25 by using herbs, and just because it's easy it's supposedly "scumming", and some of you people diss it? Umm, yeah, whatever keeps your morals/ethics clean... Next thing you know there'll be "hit point scumming", where you spend a long time stationary on a level hitting "w 5" to regen your hp... If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
