i wonder... du you make up own backroundstories in your head for the characters you play? i always do that (ofcourse it has no affect on the game, exept that i find it much more fun to play)
for example, i really cant imagine a dwarven monk being tough, strong and cool at the same time, so each time i play one, i imagine that he is an alchoholic monkish (escuse the spelling, im 15 years old and from sweden) barfly who learned how to fight the tough way, in various bars.

If you take the background (I think) family was killed in a raid, you lust for blood when you wield a weapon.
