Um, okay, I do alot of mudding, but this is my first rogue. Is there a command that tells you wether or not you have a chance against a monster? And I've moved about 6 spaces to the tiny hamlet, how do I enter into the hamlet?

to enter the hamlet, press the ">" button Unless you get a stethoscope, you really can't tell if you have a chance. A lot of the monsters level up when you do. A good way to tell is to "l"ook at them. it will indicate how experienced the monster is |
