I don't want to be hostile.
I don't want to be dismal.
But I don't want to rot in an apathetic existence either.
See
I want to believe you,
I want to trust
and I want to have faith to put away the dagger.
But you lie, cheat, and steal.
And yet
I tolerate you.
Veil of virtue hung to hide your method
while I smile and laugh and dance
and sing your praise and glory.
Shroud of virtue hung to mask your stigma
as I smile and laugh and dance
and sing your glory
while you
lie, cheat, and steal.
How can I tolerate you--
Our guilt, our blame,
I've been far too sympathetic.
Our blood, our fault.
I've been far too sympathetic.
I am not innocent.
You are not innocent.
No one is innocent.
I will no longer tolerate you
Even if I must go down beside you.
Because
No one is innocent.

HEre's mine

The Lady (a law poem my title *sigh*)

There once was a lady who lived next door,
She was arrested and didn't know for,
They broke the 4th amendment alright (kind of),
They commited a 'Good Will Error',
The lady sat in court without an attorney,
This breaks amendment 6, for she has the right,
SHe was forced to testify aganist herself,
Igonorance doesn't pay does it?
Now where's the lady? somewhere in Mexico City or Tiajunna,
I read the record, the lady against her was white-trash, she didn't really know how to read or act fast,
her family was a bunch of lazy bums,
The White-trash broke down during her session,
The witnesses could not even find the lady.
PS this is "kinda" based on a true story. It has already been filed to the DA's office so SHHH!

Not bad C. Remember that rap (and all types of music) were poems at one time.

I see trhe lines
Dark and long
Present at all times
Right or wrong
The path we walk
Fear to fall
Avoid the talk
Ignore them all
These lines of action
Never tarry
Straight reaction
Outside scary
Shadows; shapes
Foreign feelings -
Red Tape -
Fear of dealing
With what's between
The lines we see
Our world unseen
Our enemy
The things we hide
From everyone
On the highest shelf...
Behind the Sun
Behind our heels
To drive our mind
The pain we feel
Along the line...
Necessary?
A posibility -
Cross to carry
Avoid hostility
Comfort demand!
And self confine
A happy ant
Between the lines...

Er let me think
(based on a TRUE STORY)
Computer C
Faithful ol' Computer,
YEah right I'm kicking it and hiting it with a shoe,
Freezes up every secound or two,
I'm the computer person and don't know what to do,
Everyday I see a Dell commercial with a new PC,
I think holy^*^# that's 20 times faster than me!
It crashes when I get a wish in ADOM,
It crashes when I write the birds,
It crashes when I make Yo' mama jokes,
Its A:/ drive always fails,
I lose all the stuff I put from the libary,
It always gets a virus,
Windows always gets the 'Blue Screen of Death',
Then how can I flame Beth?
WHen I play Oregon Trail the colors are distorted,
But in the end I'm happy I have that old cluncker 133.
