Fire immunity? What for? Elemental gauntlets + blessed RoFire resistance + eat a fire lizard or dragon and you can have fun in ToEF. Ring of ice isn't really necessary too, I never have it before ToEF, so I'm used to take only artifact/eternium stuff. |

Have it in the inventory, protected by the fireproof blanket. So it's not a problem, unless the blanket burns away. You can always pray, though. This topic is getting spoily, isn't it? :) |

I finally got a couple of decent characters going in V1.1.0... A human healer made it to level 19. He could take lots of damage, but just couldn't deal any out, and I couldn't find any spellbooks or potions of wonder, ended up dying in the Dwarven Halls to a super ochre jelly. Other was my most promising, a high elven ranger, level 20, had a whip of slaughtering, sword of sharpness, and had just found the Scorched Spear. Got killed by a damned Living Wall, after saving Khelevaster. All those powerful weapons, strength at 23, and I still couldn't hurt the stupid thing! Couldn't get away from it either. My speed was 104. Fast Wall! Dang it! Never thought they were that fast! But, that's my luck. Congrats, Guinea, you lucky stiff! You want to fight? Fight me!
