I might for a pet get a dopplengander king, for those days you just don't want to go to school. Or maybe I'd get a tame baby karamic dragon, wait, I know its dangerous but in that case I'd wish for a tame Greater Balor. As for items in Nethack I'd wish for an blessed amulet of lifesaving or polymorph ring and polymorph control ring. As for pets I'd wish for a pet charmelon, or a tame Wizard of Yendor, or maybe a tame hobbit or something. In ADOM I would wish for a amulet of clear mind, for everyday use or a ring of clear mind +5 Le. Spellbook of somekind

If I'd get a wish, I'd wish for a girdle of giant strength, 'cause then I wouldn't need to bother visiting the gym to build muscles :)

If I had a Nethack wish, I'd wish for holy water. Drinking it will cure sickness (unless you're chaotic), and if you have one potion, you can make more by dipping ordinary water into it. If I thought I might be chaotic I'd go for a unicorn horn instead - it cures sickness whatever your alignment, but doesn't multiply like holy water.

The trouble with an ADOM-style AoLS is that it definitely does not cure death from old age. The trouble with potions of longevity (and pretty much any other ADOM item you could wish for) is that they might come cursed, and IRL you have no way of uncursing them or even telling whether they are cursed.

It's risky, but I'd be tempted to wish for spellbooks. Farsight could be useful, or Knock so that I can never be locked out of anywhere, or Strength of Atlas to shift heavy stuff around without help.

I'd wish for rings of invisibility. Then I'd go work for the CIA.

Scrolls of education would be nice...
OR fire immunity...
OR some regeneration item...
OR a helm of water breathing...
OR pick locks skill...
OR an everburning torch
OR... OR... OR... something...

I hereby announce that I am more than willing to kill anyone who dares to cross my way

Why don't you like schools, Luke?

"Faugh!" snorted Tahngarth. "Why would it make a meal out of something like you?" Squee looked relieved. "No," he continued, "you'd make a much better toothpick."

Of course an everbuning torch.

-endless source of light
-less heating expenses :)

Yeah maybe lockpicking would be a bad choise. Just popped to my mind.

Luke: You don't need molochs. Wish for a wand of destruction. And you can buy plenty of booze to recharge it :)

Yes I do like schools, but not all.
South Hunsley school was a tip and could do with clearing off the face of the Earth via molochs and I wouldn't want to get the blame, so I just get the demons to do it and run home!

But good idea about the want all the same, booze is never in short supply in this land!
