goblin, orc, kobold, gnoll, skeleton, ghul, and zombie vaults are commonplace. I once got a vault of vampires (ick) I once got a vault of animated walls (the was buggered that was) |

I've had two vaults of the same shape, in the same place on consecutive levels a couple of times. I've had a Lich vault... was doing okay till I got up to the emperors. D: Also had a dragon vault... got some nice stuff from clearing that, including the one and only SoCR I was able to find in that game. :/ |

level 40ish human monk (ninja bren) found vault of about 16 great red wyrms, i though id take them on with my wands of cold and frostbolt. the first 15 wyrms confused me & i couldnt even run/cast or anything, the last wyrm started punding on me. dead, so dead :-( What do you Wish for?_ |

Once had a tension room of gremlins AND a trap room in the same room. ie: every square was a gremlin, and it was also a trap. And so of course one of those traps would just *have* to be a water trap. Also had a vault of fire vortices. ChAoS iS cOmInG! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! |

i've found a vault of living walls in the ToEF... their camouflage dont work there ;) Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. Suddenly a stone block hits your head! I once had three vaults in row in the UD. Had to leave them alone as the char was too weak to handle vaults. How about a greater vault of greater molochs ? That would be nasty, not to mention a pain with all that *THUMB*ing... Or a greater vault of acid vortices. Or dorn beasts. Or wall beasts. Or living walls. Or mimics. Or quickling royalties. If vortices exploded when they die it would make vortices more of a pain. Plus a greater mixed vortex vault would be quite interesting... But perhaps a greater doppelganger king vault would be the worst of all, unless... Spoiler one had lots of castings of death ray or a way of darkening the place. A while back when I actually made a nice character (a rare feat for me), I came across a nice little room of about 20 great karmic wyrms while coming up from the ID after getting the Scepter, managed to live through that, then ran into a doppleganger king who got 3 critical hits on me..... sigh :( Túrin Turambar Dagnir Glaurunga |

I don't know how common these are, but I found a golem vault with the scummed character I'm currently messing around with. It was a whole bunch of stone golems, and probably some other kinds, ruled over by one eternium golem. And 65 PV and 400 hits is a lot to chop through at that point in the game. I did take him down in melee, it just took a little while... |
