I made a gray-elven wizard born in month of Salamander. His starting stats: Winner St:7 Le:25 Wi:12 Dx:17 To: 6 Ch:13 Ap:18 Ma:33 Pe:17 N= He is now lvl 8 and his hp is 26!! and pp >120!! Ps i once had a wizard with st 3... It's very hard to be humble, when you are great. |

26HP?! Being careful is not enough, you have to be paranoid to survive. ^_^ But yeah, those wierd stat charas are so nice...like dwarven barbarians, learning usually around 3 or something. And toughness something like 25+ I am so glad there are potions of balance in this game! Imagine a carmic popsicle - First it is red and tastes like strawberry. Then it turns blue and tastes like blueberry. And if someone takes it from ye, he or she gets cursed and doomed. |

Offhand, I'd say the following so somebody correct this if it's wrong: The game calculates the average score of your stats (+3 to this score if blessed potion, -3 if cursed), then checks your stats individually. If a stat is below this score it's increased by one and if above the score it's decreased by one. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. That's right, except that if your stats are "too high" (if any of them are 25 or more?) it won't modify them, but will instead draw your alignment towards N=. |

haha, i was VERY careful, but it doesn't save char from evil bugs... 291 :( He ate kobold shaman and got 35 mana btw... It's very hard to be humble, when you are great. |
