I haven't really been to many forums and I realized that I couldn't understand a lot of the shortcuts that are being used (such as IMO, IMHO, AFAIK, etc). Could you guys enlighten me? thanks! |

Now I don't know much but some basics that come to mind: IM(H)O= in my (humble) opinion BTW= by the way (osta tie) IIRC= if I recall correct AFAIK= as far as I know ROFLMAO= rolling on floor laughing my ass off RTFM= read the f****** manual YMMV= your mileage may vary Oh and some common item acronyms include SoCR / ?oCR = scrolls of chaos resistance PoCC / !oCC = potion of cure corruption WoWI / \oWi = wand of wishing PoGa / !oGA = potion of gain attributes PoUH / !oUH = potion of ultra healing RoDS / =oDS = ring of djinni summoning RoI / =oI = ring of ice (also ring of immunity) RotMC / =otMC = ring of the master cat RotHK / =otHK =ring of the high kings AMW = ancient mummy wrapping E2HS = eternium two-handed sword and so on... Anyone know a good acronym list on the net it'd be funny to read? If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
