One main fear I have is with the ethics of OBE's is does God approve? Some Christians for example condemn such things as they believe that our human body is our temple and to leave it before death is said to be a sin. Also there are great arcane knowledges found on the astral which cannot be found in physical reality - could this be symbolic for eating the apple of knowledge from the forbidden apple tree?
Since there are Christians here and others who believe in God too I was wondering about your points of views.

Here's some intersting links I dug up during my research..

http://www.spotlightministries.org.uk/astraltravel.htm
This seems a bit biased, but it states more or less that AP is wrong unless lead there by God.

This has mixed views about AP

This is fairly interesting

Luke--your questions re: astral travel can't be really answered without constantly saying, "It depends"--especially on your purpose... and on how it happens... sometimes, like with dreaming or NDEs, you didn't ask for it and aren't responsible for it...

Good point, but there are those who take up astral travel purposely who could be seen to be abusing the astral. There are some I've heard that go to the astral and have the best sex in existance, otherwise claim to meet Gods others say they are commonly harrassed by demons, especielly those new to the astral and there are others who claim to spy on other people in the physical.
I agree and say it depends how you use it. But I don't believe it's use unconditionally is good or bad, it's just there.
